This is the best Mexican food I have ever ate. I got the mini tacos and steak fajitas nachos. Authentic and great ingredients.

Worst Mexican food ever. Where’s the flavor? I went there thinking it was gonna be good but only to leave disappointed and with a sick feeling in my stomach. I won’t be going back.

I love this place. It’s not fancy or anything. Hole in the wall place. Service is friendly and attentive without being up your butt all the time. Food is awesome at an affordable price. The Jalisco burrito with barbacoa is more food than you can eat for only $ 4.50. The homemade chips and salsa don’t help either. This will definitely be my weekly haunt.

I loved everything about the food, and I daresay this may have been the best Mexican I’ve eaten stateside. The tortillas were out of this world good. The muejers are sweethearts, and the price is right. Simple food, quality ingredients, lovingly prepared. Thanks, ya’ll! =)

You don’t have to walk far from The River Walk in San Antonio, Texas, to find great Mexican food. La Jalisco accomplishes all that the River Walk has to offer but better, and cheaper. The sign for the restaurant is just a vynil banner with the name: La Jalisco, but don’t be fooled by its exterior. Inside hums with business during lunch hr and the best Mexican food around is generously served. The carne asada, al pastor tacos, with corn tortillas of course, would go well with a side of avocado salad. Pipping that great green goodness onto your savory tacos would do your tongue and stomach well. Be prepared for return visits =).
