Kids Playland, Inc.

Place was nice, manager was rushing us out the door. Made for bad experience. We held bday party.

From the ads I thought Kids Playland was just for birthday parties, but it is now has open play Monday thru Friday 9AM to 1PM. I had a bit of trouble finding it, as there is not a lot of signage. They really could benefit from more signs. The closest area would be 410 and Ingram and then keep going straight as Ingram turns into Wurzbach. Then turn left on to Timberhill. It will look as though you are in a neighborhood and Playland is a large Yellow house behind the Valero. The manager explained that this used to be a daycare center that has now been turned into a play place. Given that it is awesome that for $ 6 your kid basically has run of an entire daycare center area! The front door is locked, but when you knock she buzzes you in.
The front area has a huge room for the 2 and under crowd. There is one of those cute short roller coaster ramps with a little car, all types of toys, and a crawling kiddo would be fine in this room. The middle area has a huge bouncy castle. Behind that is a hallway with three different rooms. One is a dance area with disco lights and kids dance music. The next one is a giant kitchen and dollhouse type area. The last one is filled with cars and dinosaurs. There looked to be another room with xbox type stuff, but I think that is only for weekend birthday parties.
If you have more than one kiddo this place can be tricky. It is difficult to keep them corralled due to the choppiness of the layout. The good side though is the place is gigantic and would be great for a very large group.
There was also a playscape outside, but the day I went it was raining so I didn’t get to check that out.

Manager is so sweet, she is enthusiastic about children and is proud of her place, which means she takes care of it.

This place is my new favorite play place. It’s HUGE with different theme rooms, including a car/​dinosaur room, a dancing room, an arts and crafts room, and a kitchen. It even has a room for babies and a huge inflatable playscape. It’s super clean as well, which I really appreciate. My 20 month old son has such a blast here! So happy to have found it!
