Inception Tattoos

Rooster did not disclose his plans for the tattoo in the initial consult or in the 10 minutes he took preparing on the actual day of the tattoo. When I presented a drawing at the consult and showed him the specific location, and stated that I wanted an oil painting effect with minimal outlining, he stated that he could do that. He didnt say: ‘I don’t do small.’ Just that he could do the tattoo as I indicated by presenting a sketch, online examples of the style, and pointing to the specific area on my forearm that I wanted the tattoo, and that it wouldn’t take the whole session. I paid the 100 deposit and scheduled.
The freehand drawing on my arm extended slightly beyond the boundaries, but did not indicate a forearm sleeve.
Also, he had me wait in the lobby while he set up. That makes me really nervous now as he had double-​booked that day and had just finished another tattoo.
I wasn’t aware 600 bucks for a 4.5 hour session resulting in an unfinished tattoo is a great deal.
Last point: business owners who don’t like bad reviews have the option of listening to their customers and doing a good job of providing exceptional service and products. Or they can bully anyone who posts honest reviews. The difference between the two is, respectively, one you can trust, and one you should avoid.

I was going to write this long rebuttal to your review but as I was doing so I began to laugh almost historically and realized it would be utterly silly of me to bother dissecting every little thing you claim went down. As I was going back and forth, viewing your photos and accusations, scratching my head to the juicy bits o’ brain and remembering how things actually happened (which surveillance tape can prove) I realized that I personally have NOTHING to prove. :D AND IT FEELS GREAT! There’s ZILTCH to prove to you or anyone reading this. It was after a long night of being in the comfort of a good person recently that made me realize people like you cannot be pleased. I personally screwed up by setting you up to get more than you paid for because you’re close friends of another artist here (or so you make it seem). When I produced the art that I managed to pull out of drawing provided to me I’m still happy with my creation that I did for you after EXPLAINING to you how I would approach it and AFTER you saw the freehand drawing directly on your arm. And though you post fuzzy close ups of the unfinished parts that I needed to complete to get the «oil painted» effect (because those details are done LAST!) we all know you didn’t post the whole thing because people who like big bright tattoos will tell you it’s actually good. You got a deal and you tried getting it for free. «Give an inch.»
It is my strong personal belief were sent by what many call God. I posted on Facebook around the time I met you that I «need a hater in my life» to order to «talk shXt» and fuel me further being as how every time that happens I jump to the next level in life/​career and can look back proud. I asked my friend that I call Mr. Universe to put you here. Day in and day out I get to be a part of creating art on people who love it, bring numerous other clients and after a while all the praise becomes superficial as you realize the world is made up of takers and users. I deal with 24hr anxiety (hence the meds I take ;)). I didn’t care much for your vibe when I met you and normally I would pass on someone like you but I didn’t. I don’t know why I just didn’t. I assumed I’d do a cool, fun tattoo on another artists friend and hook her up with a couple more hours worth of time on the piece which is OBVIOUSLY vague if anybody with ¼ brain can see by the reference provided.
Being as how you came in, watched me set up, sat for the drawing, looked in the mirror, said you loved it, got it started, SAID YOU LOVED IT AGAIN, tipped, left happy (which is on camera) and a then about a week after decide to complain that you will not be receiving any sort of refund. Well, that and the fact I work under a no refund business. The proof and then the accusations alone are sketch comedy worthy on a TWKUK level which is why I find it difficult to take your complaints seriously. I told you from the start I DON’T DO SMALL. I explained to you it would be a half sleeve sized design. YOU WERE FINE WITH IT. So, I don’t know we misunderstood each other, if the actual shock of your own decision got the best of you and you can’t deal with it or you’re just one of those people that neeeed attention, good or bad. All in all I don’t have any problems with you as you were obviously sent as an answered pray. Therefore as someone who strongly believes in a greater power I must in fact love you, thank you and ask the Universe to bless you as it works it’s love, magic and divinity through you. Your story was hilarious. Thank you for writing it. Your opinions are slightly appreciated.

Clean and professional. Rooster designed and has started an amazing chest piece for me. I need to get over and get it finished but it is beautiful even almost done. Full color, amazing work.
Rooster is a great guy. Kind of quiet when he works. He has a pretty light hand, like I said above he did a full chest piece on me and it didn’t really hurt as bad as I anticipated. It healed well and now I just need to go back and get it finished.
The only downfall is I couldn’t bring the husband to entertain me for the time I was there. I am a chatter and 5 – 6 hours of no chatting drives me a bit batty.
He will be doing all my future new tattoos and any coverups I decided on, he is amazing.

Man I was super shocked to see this place had such a low rating. I went to this shop months ago and realized I never reviewed it. I had a micro dermal and straight up neglected it but i never had any problems with it. After five years it started to reject in the worst way and very rapidly. Eventually the «foot» cut a second hole in my face (mostly likely from my daughter pulling on it) so you could actually see it coming out of my face. The problem was when I got the implant I asked the piercer (5 years ago in some shady shop) to put it as close to my eye as possible, he then gave me the sharpie and told me to mark where I wanted it so my dermal was extremely close (like a centimeter or less) to my eye. I Went to about three shops to get it removed, they didn’t seem very confident that they wouldn’t damage my eye in the process or flat out refused to touch it. I called inception explained what was going on to Ian and he told me to come in so he could take a look. He was extremely nice funny comforting kind informative and helpful. I was super nervous and he was totally chill and professional. He made it extremely easy to put my trust in him. Not only did he basically do surgery on my face he explained what to do to keep it from scarring as well as vitamins to take to help the healing process and gave me tips on how to recognize a professional piercer. When we were leaving he give me his number in case I had any problems.
I forgot to mention during the «procedure» he helped me breathe through the pain and even helped my husband who got a little whoozie while watching. Honestly it was the best service I have had anywhere EVER! Ian was amazing. When I’m ready for some more piercings I’ll definitely be going to him

Rooster is the best! He helped me complete the final stage of my reconstruction by doing my areola tattoos. They look amazing! He also provided this service free of charge. I could not believe my luck in finding him! He has made me feel whole again.

Terrible customer service never call you back. Took time out of my day to go in to show them a tattoo that I want to get covered up. They did a outline drawing of my tattoo and said they would call me back when they had something drawn up. I put money to the side for the tattoo (because as their sign says a good tattoo cost good money) and then never heard back from them. I didn’t know I have to go out of my way to get you to do a tattoo for me. I will never be going back!
