I really enjoyed my time living at Hidden Oaks, and never really had any complaints. I lived on the third floor and boy let me tell you just how beautiful the view of the vast tree tops was from my apartment balcony. The 2-bedroom floor plan is ideal for roommates and there was plenty of space for each person. The living room was just amazingly huge, with built-in bookcases and a fireplace. What I really loved about the unit we were in was the easy access to a washer and dryer since the connections are in your very own apartment. Granted, on a cold or rainy day it sucked(since the connections were in a closet on the balcony) but it sure as hell beats having to carry your stuff over to a communal facility. I remember one time my machines broke on me so I had to use the laundry room, which was fine since it was clean, warm, and all of the machines worked fabulously. Perhaps the only weird thing was the shared bathroom that connected both of the bedrooms together. Fortunately, both doors had locks on them to allow for privacy. The kitchen was a decent size, equipped with a bar-area to allow you to see your guests in the living room as well as a good-sized pantry and plenty of cabinets and storage space. All of the appliances always worked and the management team was generally receptive and timely with work orders. I would recommend Hidden Oaks to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, spacious apartment to live in.
