I’ve been going to Dr. Haynes for years. Even when I lived in San Diego, I would wait until I could «see» her on my trips back to SA.
She is such a great doctor and her staff is always super friendly and helpful, especially Jackie. Okay, so Jackie and I have been friends since middle school, when wearing glasses was definitely not cool, but that’s neither here nor there. In fact, if I don’t get my contacts and glasses, I can’t see what’s here OR there. SERIOUSLY– Mr. Magoo has nothing on me. Is that an E at the top of the chart? But that’s beside the point, as they say.
Now, you’re not ever going to get a buy-​one-​get-​a-​free-​pair-​of-​glasses-​for-​your-​entire-​extended-​family here but since I buy glasses once every 5 years, I don’t mind dishing out the extra bucks for some quality specs.
Besides a fabulous selection of frames, they check your eyeballs too.
They use all the latest diagnostic tools to make sure your eyes are in good shape (including my favorite one that is a lot like the old Asteroids video game).
Their new standalone office is sooo beautiful too, definitely an Italian villa/​boutique feel. If you can, check out Dr. Haynes actual office – she is mad crazy about zebra print.
