Great place. Never really know just WHAT your going to find in here, which is part of the charm. I just wish the prices were a little lower, because some items are priced at the same price as you would pay at a bigger store, but I’d rather drop my money here, where it goes towards a good cause, rather than shopping at Walmart, Homo Depot, etc. Over all good atmosphere, cool stuff, nice people. But for the love of god and all things(un)holy, do NOT use the bathroom! I think it only gets cleaned once a week! Y eso no es bueno!

Love this place! It’s such a great place to get your home improvement going. You just can’t get too picky about what you are looking for. You just need to see what they have, and work with it. They’ve got lots of salvaged stuff, so if you’re not picky about what color your new door is, or whether the paint is the right shade of green. But if you’re not picky, you can find some exceptional deals on stuff for the house. There’s no refunds, and everything is sold as-is. They sell a wide variety of architectural salvaged stuff that came from some condemned house or a family’s upgrade. The staff is mainly volunteers, I believe. They don’t offer much help or assistance on anything. They really don’t have the right carts to carry around building materials, so you sorta have to make do on your own.

This is a great place to come if you’re loking to spruce up a house on your own for cheap. They have a great seletion of frontdoors, tile floors cabinets, paints, hardware, and some odds and ends. I was surprised to even see bedroom furinture and dining room tables in there. They get shipments in once a month and donations everyday.

Imagine a second hand or thrift version of Home Depot and that is what Habit for Humanity is minus live plants. Your not going to find every single thing to repair a home but they have all kinds of odd ball items at good prices. They also sale new rugs, dining room tables, and beds at decent prices. I usually like to go there for cheap terracotta pots. I’ve always wanted to get a cabinet door and go artsy on it. Perhaps one day!

As the parking lot first came into view my first thought was«They must be giving something away, Fabrege Eggs perhaps»? There were cars lined up in the street with turn signals on. Think of Manhattan NYC gridlock. It turns out that nothing was being given away, the parking lot is just too damn small. After ten minutes we decided to park on the street a block away. The store had a small selection of new flooring but the prices were about 80% less than the«Big Box» chains. We could not find a style we liked but we will defiantly check back in a week or so. Paint prices were dirt cheap as well. Again, we could not find colors we liked. We’ll look for paint next week when we check the flooring. The reclaimed doors, fixtures, sinks etc. were either overpriced or junk. The prices of other items will have us checking back often. There is a tremendous deal to be had at this store. We just did not find it on our first visit.
