Garrafas Nieves Y Mas

Have gone to both here and the popular Las Nieves (Hildelbrand location) and this place is hands down the BEST for nieves. The mango and pineapple and the strawberry and everything else! Agua Fresca is delicious as well. The owners are super nice and enable my addiction. Come stop by this place if you’re walking, jogging, biking or like me… Lives across town and driving to satisfy a craving.

Garrafas, Nieves Y Más is the quintessential Nieves and snack place. Located across from a golf course and near jogging, biking, and kayaking activities it is a perfect addition to the area.
I had my first garrafa de nieve (sp?) here at a soft opening about 8 months ago, and now I am HOOKED. I tried the mango, and it is like someone froze a mango and then picked every frozen mango «snowflake» and placed it in a cup. It is a super fine snow cone texture of fruit. You can’t taste anything artificial about it— so I am able to justify having an extra large mango garrafa de nieve for $ 5 very often! The prices are great!
They have a large area for group events and a few picnic tables out front for a quick bite to eat. For a few dollars, you can get a hotdog, Dr. Pepper and chips!
It’s my number one source on the Southside for a sweet treat!
