I love this place. The woman who took my order was very knowledgeable about all of the different types of teas and where they all originated. I had the Cacao Chai, even though I dislike chai as a flavor. The tea was served in a single teapot with a small mug. The cacao chai was fantastic. I will most definitely be visiting it again.

The exterior and the sad strip mall it is located in is beyond sketch. But… For tea I will brave many things. You enter the tea lounge by going through the craftiques vintage store. It’s really creepy actually. Dolls with huge eyes and long eyelashes peer out through hundred year old lace curtains. Everywhere you turn there is some oddity poking out. I think some people might actually really like that kind of stuff. It just wasn’t for me. After exiting the maze of antiques, I came to an open spot with mismatched chairs and tiny tables. I assumed this was the tea lounge. There was a counter in the back where there was a wall of tea. I’ll be honest, their tea selection was really great. The ladies serving tea obviously know their stuff. They also have a zojirushi water heater, which tells me they are doing it right. I ordered a pot of jasmine tea and a spinach quiche. Since there was no one there, I got served very quickly. I came with my sister, who also ordered tea so when our teas came, the table seemed a lot smaller because it could barely hold our teapots and cups and food. I think the tea is of good quality and very tasty but the food only passable. Atmosphere was truly terrible. I won’t go back, mainly because it is a little out of the way and I would have to traverse the creepy antiques section.
