Great selection of fruit for Half the price. Fruit cups inside with lots of mexican candies, soda’s and flavored waters.

A great fruit stand on the South Side!
This place is a great little produce store! They’ve got a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies. My favorite was the wide selection of chili peppers– dried and fresh!
They’ve got a bunch of different fresh fruit cups and boxes, filled with the good stuff– not just a bunch of grapes. You can get it with chili powder or without.
The interior of the store has a variety of Mexican sodas and candy. I haven’t seen such a selection of Topo Chicos, aguas frescas and palletas!
The interior of the store is kind of cramped, and not the cleanest, but it gives it a nice vibe.

The last time I came here I was with my Abuelita (grandma) when i was a little girl waiting for the Viva! Bus. This place is like a mini HEB produce section. They have just about every fruit you need. Then they even have fruit cups with Chile sprinkled on top. I came here for Popsicles. I knew I could find mango, coconut, strawberry, and watermelon here. They practically melted by the time I got home but, they were still good on such a hot San Antonio day.

I’m a southsider and I like to support great businesses on the southside. If you want the best produce in town or a fantastic, fresh fruit salad in a variety of sizes, try Los Amigos. The salads are made daily and include fresh coconut slices, mangos and delicious strawberries just to name a few. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great! Tell them Kathy sent you.
