First Choice Emergency Room

So I was a little harsh and vulgar in my original review. I apologize for my language and although my feelings about them are still there, all I will say is I will not be coming back to this place.

My 7 year old had a severe allergic reaction and this is the first place that popped in my head as I was frantically trying to find help. He was in pretty serious condition even after I gave him Benadryl (hives from head-​to-​toe and nonstop itching) not to mention scared to death about what was happening to him. This was the closest place so I pulled in, got him out of the car as quickly as I could and went straight inside. It was a relief seeing no other patients were waiting, and I was quickly greeted by what I had thought was a kind woman…
She asked me what she could help me with, I turned my son around so she could see the hives all over, he’s in tears, so she said «ok I just need your insurance and an ID»
I already had it waiting so I quickly handed it to her, she took one look at it (CHIP) and hands it back to me saying «I’m sorry ma’am we do not accept this insurance, therefore we will not treat your child, but we most certainly can refer you to a nearby ER who will»
I was in shock! My child needed immediate medical attention and she had the nerve to turn us away when there was NO ONE IN THERE!!!
There are no words. I wanted to reach over and strangle her but of course I just yanked my ID and card out of her hands and ran out the door to go find someone to help my child, and I did. This facility, that employee, ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Your priority should be to help those in need, and ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!!!

My husband was seen by Dr Kashani. He was very helpful. Luckily it was very slow and we were seen quickly. We had our 15 month old son with us and it was a little tough trying to change him in a small room, luckily Johnathan at the front desk was helpful and let us use the restroom that was out of order so I could have a changing station. Cesar, the radiologist was awesome! He was joking with us and made our visit feel quick. He was very thoughtful and got me a Gatorade and my son some Apple juice.

Took my grandson here because he fell and busted his eye brow. We were seen immediately. The place is clean and the staff were very friendly. We will come here again. Nice and close.

I brought my husband here today with severe abdominal pain. It took over 1 hour for him to get any pain medicine and 5 tries to get an IV. We came here because it was close to our house and we thought they would be fast but they are very slow compared to visits at stone oak Methodist. We will never come back.

This is a very clean facility, the staff & doctor are friendly and professional, and best of all no wait. (Helped that we checked in online) They are very well equipped for any emergency.
