We eat here several times a month. Always eat one of the daily specials. Never disappointed. This is not just a pizza place

Talk about a hole in the wall pizza joint! If you love supporting small business and great food, then this is your place. The building is a very cozy old house that is very welcoming. Soft classic jazz plays in the background as you browse the menu and make your food choices. This waS our first time here. We had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and are absolutely head over heels for this place. I can’t wait to come back to have pasta and salad. It’s worth the trip yall! Have fun!

Very good pizza, we had several different ones ordered with our group, everyone loved them. Thin and flavorful. I had the pesto chicken pasta(Rigatoni Chicken, I think its called) it was delicious! The bruschetta appetizer was great too! The ravioli appetizer was good too but loved the bruschetta more. If was a fun atmosphere in the hill country. One thing I do suggest is keeping the outside tables clean, just sweeping away the leaves and such debris. Other than that is a great place and would return !

Our first visit, quaint place that feels like you are in the country. Very friendly waitresses and the pizza was fantastic! Homemade crust and toppings were piled on. I’m not a fan of most pizza sauce but this one was not acidic at all.

Overrated! Read reviews on Unilocal and was very excited to try a new place(take out). Sadly the food was very bland. Basically I paid $ 18 for a piece of dough(calzone). Customer service, can’t say much. When I walked in I went to the back to pick up my order I wasn’t greeted I was ask my name(demanding) and was giving my total. I paid and she just walked away no by or thank you come again. I guess my money was not good enough!

Figlio’s was good-ish. I ordered a New York pizza using the picture on their website to set my expectations: Thin crust, red sauce — you know, nothing crazy. BUT they have a pizza called the«New Yorker» which consists of ricotta cheese, sliced tomatoes, black olives, basil, and garlic. I wanted my New York(not New YorkER) with pepperoni and anchovies, so those were added. I can only halfway blame them since they gave me what they THOUGHT I ordered, but I thought I ordered something else completely. As a result, plus the fact that it wasn’t thin crust(which a NY pizza is) undercooked, and without pizza sauce I didn’t like it. The wings were on the small side but I expected that for the price(24 for $ 17.99). They were all covered in a pretty standard Buffalo wing sauce. Not bad but unspectacular. $ 45 all in is too much for what I got — which wasn’t what I wanted. Too bad.

Found this on Unilocal. It’s like a little house in the woods. Small inside but felt cozy. I ordered the Pasta Caprice with shrimp and it was good. My hubby got the chicken piccata he said on a scale of 1 – 10 it was a 6. He’s an Italian foodie snob. So that’s not bad lol. My son ordered the chicken piccata as well and his take was different, he said chicken was tender, the sauce was very tasty, he loved it. My daughter ordered the baked ziti she said it was ok but a little dry. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and the meatballs were mushy and no flavor, the cheese pizza was not a winner all around. No flavor, dry. I gave the review 4 stars because MY meal was great.

What a great find. It’s a little bit off the beaten path but worth the trip. We visited here after the Wildlife Ranch. Our waitress was super personable and suggested the fried raviolis as an appetizer. They were meat-filled and quite good. I started with a Caesar salad and then my family split a small meat lover’s pizza and the caprice pasta. The pasta especially was delicious and was gobbled up my my four year old. The crust on the pizza was delicious and we had tons of food.

Always good food here. Great pizza and outstanding spaghetti. The temperature was 60 degrees outside and was just as cold inside. That is the only bad thing about my visit here.

Recently tried a take out vegetarian pizza, a vegatarian New Yorker pizza and a Vesuvio. The vegatarian was so so but the New Yorker was awesome and my wife raved about the Vesuvio. Looks like we will be back soon.

Buyer beware! Well we have had Figlios pizza twice before and it was superb. Tonight we ordered a New Yorker pizza to be picked up. We got there and my wife was talking to the checkout girl about something and the girl mentioned that the New Yorker doesn’t have marinara sauce on it. No where on the menu does it say this like the other pizzas do. I was pizzed when she told us that and should have refused the pizza but didn’t want to cause a scene. The girl said she always tells people that call in that it doesn’t come with sauce but my wife talked to some guy when she placed the order. Who in their right mind doesn’t put any sauce on a pizza? I have been to New York City 6 times and have never eaten a pizza without sauce so where they came up with this I don’t know. We brought it home thinking we had 2 good experiences before so we would try this one. It was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Far below the frozen cardboard disc you get at the grocery store. Absolutely no flavor without the sauce and very dry. I think if false advertising that they do not disclaim on the menu that this particular pizza does not come with sauce. If you look at their menu, some pizzas say they come with our without I guess depending on your preference. The Texas pizza specifically says it does not come with sauce. The New Yorker that we ordered says nothing about sauce so we were led to believe that it would be a normal pizza. I think I will call the owner tomorrow and lodge a complaint and see what he will do. That is a lot of money to spend for a crappy pizza.

I’m from NY and I’m a pizza snob. I’m unimpressed by most pizza joints in NY. Here in Texas many places claim to have«authentic NY pizza». I’ve tasted it, it all sucks. Figlio’s has nailed it! Crust, spot on! Cheese, so good! Sauce has a little too much paste but, is seasoned very well. Also, the service was excellent and I had a chicken dish that was superb. I highly recommend this place!

Best pizza I’ve had in SA so far, hands down. I’m from NY and this place makes me feel like I’m at home. They do NY pizza 100% spot on! And they have Cannolis for dessert, not sure what else you could ask for!

What can I say but besides Figlio’s is an awesome place has a great small town feel with the taste of a great New York pizza. The only thing is that there pastas are lacking a little flavor. Be careful when picking up pizza to go from the cast for register area and gets hot back there
