I will definitely be back! Very clean, very «chill,» and decently priced. Sylvia took her time and made sure I was happy with my manicure. Nice to see a manicurist that takes the time to ask what you want and makes sure it’s done right!

UPDATE: I went back and used the $ 20 credit the owner gave me for the misunderstanding last time. They did a great job when I asked for special lace nail. They worked on them until they looked just how I wanted them to. I love them!

Just lost what could have been a regular customer.
I normally get my nails done at White Orchid but this place just opened up by my place. I called and asked how much their gel manicures are. Lady who answered the phone said $ 20. I made an appointment and headed over. The nail tech took nearly an hour to remove my old gel polish. The entire appointment was nearly 2 hours long. The girl did a good job and since the gel mani was only $ 20, I decided to give them a second chance.
I just left my second appointment and I was charged $ 40, twice what I was expecting to pay. I had the receptionist call the owner, Anne. Despite the misinformation I was given by her poorly trained staff, I was still charged $ 40.
I will be going back to White Orchid even though it’s not as close to me as Emme. I’ve never had a bad experience at WO, and the nail salon is cleaner than Emme. At least WO’s staff is trained well enough to quote you the right price on the phone.

Yes… I know… I am a guy and I am reviewing a Nailspa. Yes, I did get a manicure and pedicure with my wife. I am secure in my manhood. :)
Having been to quite a few salons over the course of the 10 years I have been married, this is the best I have been to. The atmosphere was very relaxing and spa like. The smell was not of chemicals and burning nails, rather of aroma therapy scents. The decorations were calming and the staff attentive and friendly.
As for the seats for the pedicure, not comfortable at all. Normally you would be seated in a massage chair which I tend to find a bit uncomfortable. These were just benches with very straight, upright backs making it uncomfortable to sit there long.
The rest of the experience, from the manicure to the pedicure was wonderful. Like I said before, relaxing and such a calming experience. Even the cost was much lower than I would have expected and certainly lower than many of the others we have been to over the years.
While there a patron came out of the massage room and said that was the best massage she had ever had. The therapist seemed to be amazing and carried herself with a lot of confidence. Maybe one day I will try that out and write an update.
If I could change one thing it would be the seats for the manicures. Other than that it was a great experience. Excellence job Emme. We will certainly be back.

Recently stopped in for a manicure and pedicure. Making an appointment was speedy and the atmosphere was nice. Parking is limited but otherwise the décor and staff are very nice and welcoming.

I want to like this place so bad because of the convenient location but I went in for a facial and just didn’t get what I want. The woman who preformed the facial was very sweet and knowledgeable but the salon didn’t have their steam machine ready which is a must have for my face. So I paid $ 100 for a facial without a good steam clean, ugh.
Also I waited 30 minutes to be seen. Unfortunately I will not return for facials but to be fair I did not have my nails done and I am sure they are capable.

This place is absolutely beautiful with a helpful and friendly staff. Completely in love and coming back for more.

I am absolutely in love with Emme Nailspa! I do not get pampered with a mani-​pedi often, so I wanted to choose a place that was sure to impress and Emme did just that! Walking into the establishment, I was amazed with how adorable the décor was; it was well decorated with cute booths for manicures and sparkling tubs for pedicures. I am an absolute clean freak, so the level of cleanliness that this place abides by was impressive (especially considering the not-​so-​impressive level of cleanliness in other nail salons).
My technician, Paulina, was by far one of the best I have had the pleasure to encounter! She was very engaging and conversant while, at the same time, extremely attentive and thorough with my nails. She did an amazing job with my shellac and would visit with her again!
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing experience and would definitely return the next time I decide to pamper myself!

I highly recommend this new nail spa. The ambiance is relaxing and the premises are spotless.
I made an appointment with An, the owner. She did an excellent job with my pink and white fill. Although it took a little longer than I would have liked, she took extra care to be certain she did a perfect job.
Very satisfied and will definitely return!

They have a wall full of different colors to choose from for either nail polish or shellac. The ladies are very friendly take their time with manicures to be sure your nails are done well. The interior is so cute, you sit at a little booth for manicures.

Highly recommend Emme’s. Not going to repeat what’s already been Unilocal’d but had a great experience, offered a beer after checking in (no appt), toes in much better shape and a very convenient location — especially for élian residents. I’ll be back soon!

I wish I could give Emme Nails 6 stars! I had such a great time! I was worried that they wouldn’t have the resources for nail art that I had chosen, so I brought 4 other ideas. But as soon as I showed them my first one, they were beyond excited to try.
An and Jaclyn were both very patient with my attention to detail. They made me feel even more like a princess when I told them it was my birthday tomorrow!
AND complimentary hot green tea to help me feel better (because I was sick) for my big day!
Eventually, the entire staff came out to compliment my nails. I couldn’t be more in love with the job both An and Jaclyn did too!

Emme is by far the best new NailSpa in town! They have the most friendly staff and I LOVE the aesthetic appeal the entire salon has which is clean, pristine and definitely exudes inspiration from fashion! The pedicure bowls are a refreshing sight compared to other traditional spas. Bonus: they take pride in their involvement with giving back to the community by donating proceeds of sales over $ 20 to 3 different San Antonio nonprofit organizations!

I love this place! I got a message from them weeks ago on Unilocal to visit there was place. Went there last Saturday and they really took care of me and accommodated my husband as well, since he just likes waiting for me at the spa. I loved the interior and the fact that they used actual spacious chairs than the massage ones.
I had there signature pedicure and simple manicure. Sylvia was very nice and she knew what she was doing. I loved the smell of the oils and the products they were using. When it was time to do my manicure, I had asked her what to recommend for me since I wash my hands a lot at work and she introduced me to dip-​gel and I loved it! Doing it took tedious work and Sylvia did it awesomely.
Definitely coming back to this place and recommending Emme to my friends!

Emme’s was without a doubt the best nail experience I have ever had. The technician who worked with me was fun and engaging, but best of all she was very careful and paid attention to every detail.
I had acrylic nails put on for my wedding and they looked exactly how I hoped they would. My technician (I’m a jerk and can’t remember her name) was very careful when filing my nails and, for the first time ever, my nail beds weren’t sore after getting them done. They got me in at the last minute and made me feel so welcome and special.
The ambiance is calm and cute. It is clean and very reasonably priced. But the absolute star of the show was my technician. I was so impressed by her attention to detail and calming demeanor. I’ll never get my nails done anywhere else in San Antonio. What a stellar experience.

I was going through « Unilocal» and noticed some great reviews for this new nail salon and I had to check it out.
I walked into Emme and was greeted immediately. I was pleasantly surprised at the cute, cozy setup of the salon. I’m happy to say it that it was very modern and sleek. Also, it was very clean!
I was a little nervous that I would have to wait since I was a «walk-​in» and decided at the last min to stop by for a quick mani/​pedi. However, I was helped immediately by Sylvia.
I had a simple pedi and for the first time, I was excited not to see spa chairs. Instead they had these foot sinks that could easily be cleaned as opposed to the whole spa chairs who have tubes that may or may not have been cleaned. Just my own observance…
My pedi was great and we then moved into the mani. I was going to get a simple manicure with regular polish, but then at the last min I decided that I should do shellac (i recently had a full set and my nails really are paying for it… they’re very brittle and I thought Shellac might help out). As Sylvia was showing me the various color samples, she then mentioned that they also had the gel dip powder option available. I had seen this technique before and I REALLY wanted to try it out. It was totally awesome and simple. I love Shellac, but I don’t like it when my fingers have to sit under the UV light constantly. Sylvia did a great job with making sure that everything was just perfect.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely will be back! **I already made my appt for early Nov!**

Love this nail spa! Such a beautiful serene space. It definitely has the spa feel so it’s a great place to get pampered. The people are so friendly and they do excellent nails!

What a fabulous nail salon! The ambiance is gorgeous and the prices are great. They are super talented with the nail art as well.

Extremely chic salon with outstanding customer service. Salon is fairly new and located in the up and coming Eilan Shopping area. They offer a variety of nail services, waxing, lashes, and massages. I had a manicure and Dip Gel polish. My nails haven’t looked this well in forever! Sylvia did a phenomenal job. This is officially my new nail salon!

While it’s a soft open I am already in love with be with this nail salon. It compares to nothing else in San Antonio as far as nail salons that are not embedded in a spa. The services are awesome and the customer service suburb! Very excited this place is in my neighborhood!
