We ordered delivery on a Saturday night. It was fast fresh and yummy. It was good Chinese food for SA. Being from Houston we have struggled to find Chinese good here that we enjoy. We will definitely order delivery again.

This place is hands down the best in San Antonio for a very fair priced and satisfying lunch. They have lunch options that range from $ 6-$ 7 dollars. Every lunch comes with a soup and egg/spring roll. VALUE yes! Service — super friendly staff and owner, always accommodating. I use to live in China and this place can actually make some dishes that would challenge that of top chefs in most Chinese provinces. This is my go to for a quick, affordable and satisfying Chinese meal…

The restaurant is small but efficient. In regards to their food, the food is very good. Their family delight is good, with a mixture of vegetables with meat or shrimp depending on your preference and a dark sauce. Their chow mein and fried rice are decent. The only remark I have is the sauce, in certain occasions the sauce that is added to some of the plates tends to be added in large amount saturating the food and making it very salty. Broccoli beef is an example of this, the plate is good but due to the excessive amount of soy sauce added it makes the plate very salty overall. But the food is decent for the price. The cheese ragoons are what are very good, specifically the cheese inside the ragoon is exceptional. Also, The egg rolls are also very good. They have a broad menu.

One of my choices of Chinese restaurants in the Stone Oak, 1604 area. I’ve dined here several times over the past years & have had good meals here. I normally request no MSG on any menu selection as a personal preference. I ordered the Chicken with Vegetables, served with a generous portion of broccoli, carrots, snow peas, mushrooms, baby carrots & water chestnuts. The steam rice enhanced the flavor, adding a healthier touch from the normal fried rice. I always save the best for last & of course, it’s the egg roll. The egg rolls are noticeably delicious & not a average egg roll. The quality is very good & never excessively oily compared to other Chinese dining spots. Service level is also very consistent… courteous & efficient! Location is conveniently located off Redland Rd @ 1604.

Service was fast and precise. Food could have tasted a tad bit better but I’m a fan of the fried rice and the egg drop soup! This place is very convenient and off the highway.

I like this place because: 1) The food is good & fresh(for lunch special)! 2) The price is reasonable! 3) Waiters/waitresses are friendly. 4) Quick in & out meal, from taking the order to delivering food… it’s FAST! 5) The owner takes care of the details, such as the glasses are spotless and the bowls are ceramic without chipping. 6) Choices of spring roll(my favorite) or egg roll 7) The wanton soup base tastes great! The bad: 1) I went there at 2:15PM one time & they had already closed! :(

It has been hit or slight miss. The staff seems to change every time I’m here. Today is no different. The food is good, so I will continue to keep this in my rotation. But it’s nothing I will go out of my way. I’ve been here during peak lunch hrs and it’s busy. Service can be slow. Overall though good place to eat if you are in the neighborhood. If the attrition improves I could give this place another star.

When it comes to getting some tasty Chinese food delivered this is a great option if you are in the area. Sometimes they give you an extended time for your food to arrive(45 minutes), but it usually arrives even quicker. The time doesn’t really matter though, as the food is always hot and fresh and the delivery guy is fan-friggin-tastic. So far we’ve tried the Lemon Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Moo-Shu Pork, Sweet & Sour Shrimp & Shrimp with Mushrooms. Everything has been above average to superior. So if you are wanting to stay in and watch football and let someone else do the footwork give this place a call.

Yum Yums, good Chinese food in town. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. I had this place recommended by some of the guys from the local bike shop called ride away bikes and man it was worth it. The lunch portion is huge and cheap and delish! I had the crispy beef that comes with steamed or fried rice and an egg-roll. Don’t order anything else because the plate it self is very big. The Crispy beef is perfectly cooked as to where its crispy but still juicy and the sauce was very tasty but i found it a tad bit sweet. The place it self is a bit old and goofy looking but hey it has a cozy vibe and feel. Will be going back and i suggest you try them out.

For me, the best thing about the food is the prepackaged fortune cookie. First of all, whoever labeled this place as Thai is misinformed. 3 dishes does not a Thai restaurant make. The cuisine in this establishment is primarily Chinese. The tea was watered down, and the Thai Basil dishes were heavy on the onion. The shrimp was cooked well, all 6 of them. On the menu, the 3 dishes are: Thai Basil Shrimp, Thai Basil Beef and Vegetarian Curry. Moving on from the Thai issue, I made an effort to consider the dishes from a Chinese food perspective. In the Mongolian Combination, the pork was flat– no seasoning and had a strange texture. Of the combination of proteins, the beef and chicken were good. I did have some positives: our waitress was very quick. The price point was good for lunch. The rice was moist and fresh. The lettuce wraps were well done — crunchy ice berg lettuce and the filling was good. It is better with rice, which I took off of my plate.(While it does not compare with PF Chang’s, it was pleasing). The egg drop soup was hot and filling, and plenty of crispy wontons were provided. Could have used green onion, but I opted not to ask. The spring and egg rolls were very good: filled well and crispy exterior. And the fortune cookie was fresh, crispy and entertaining. Confucius says, «if you don’t do it excellently, don’t do it at all.» Overall, I do not believe I will come back. If I did, I would probably get the lettuce wraps, or look for the fried items, as those seemed to be tastier than the healthy options. For those who have gone and enjoyed, maybe it just wasn’t for me. You will have to decide for yourself. Note: I didn’t take photos of the menu or the dishes. That was my oversight.

I really like this place, it’s a little spot with good food. I been eating here for quite a while and I can’t say that I had a problem with them. I get takeout on almost every occasion. The service is nice and polite everytime. They were always prompt with me and my guests. The food is really food. I usually get Thai Basil, egg rolls, and rangoon for lunch or whenever I’m over that way. I visited today and will be back plenty more times, can’t beat a sure thing.
