We booked a motor home for a Spring break camping trip months in advance; however, a couple hours before we were to pick up the motor home we were told that it was returned damaged and the best they could do was rent us a different one the following day for a 20% reduction. Our friends were already on their way to our rendezvous point so this wasn’t acceptable at all. They apologized(rather unconvincingly) but made no further efforts to right this situation. Is it their fault the unit was damaged? Not at all! But wouldn’t you assume they’d have relationships with others in the industry and help to resolve the issue with some phone calls? You know, like any decent hotel would do. We luckily have tents and air mattresses so we will press on, but we are so disappointed. Hopefully we can change our reservation at the camp site but we won’t be right next door to our buddies. Bummer! Looks like I have to give at least one star but I do so begrudgingly!
