Im not from here. I come here for work every couple of months. This place is right by my office. So very convenient for me to get some breakfast tacos in the morning. Ive eaten here everyday for 2 weeks besides on Sunday. Cuz they are closed. Everyday the same consistent food. Which is really good. Breakfast tacos are super good and their hot sauce red and green go perfect on them. Today like a few days this week I also ate lunch here. More consistently great food. Ive tried a few things on the menu now and I haven’t had anything bad. I mostly stick to chicken stuff if you’re wondering. Even if this place was out of my way Id still go. Its worth it. If you’re thinking about it I obviously say give it a go. I haven’t had better Mexican food in San Antonio.

Should have been a zero star review. Only reason it get a one star is our server was nice. First off it’s 8:15a on a Saturday and we are the only ones here. Place down the street is packed. Should have expected what happened next. The owner is sitting near and comes to ask if we need anything. My tortillas were cold and hard. Asked him for hot ones and if they had homemade tortillas.“he says they are homemade” THATS A LIE! These are the worst store bought pieces of crap! Food is CRAP. WORSTINSANANTONIO! And the coffee is weaker than my teeth after a taffy apple! WONTEVERGOHEREAGAIN!

Great breakfast tacos, amazing enchiladas and genuinely nice people. Prices are very reasonable. 10 breakfast tacos for $ 10? Say what? They have a drive through, which is super convenient. I wish that they were open later! They would be perfect for late lunch or midnight snack.

This place has always been our go to spot to pick up breakfast tacos on the run or just to bring them back home for a great morning snack. I like to call them old faithful for our breakfast needs! If you’re in the area check them out.

Clean and tidy. Cute décor. Extremely friendly staff who come and go adequately but not too much to become irritating. Will be coming back. Had the Cholula Omlette absolutely perfect!!! The red hot sauce was like delicious fire, I love it and can’t stop eating it. Yum and a very pleasant place to have a quiet breakfast.

Just stumbled onto this place and decided to come in for lunch. Was met by a very friendly staff and promptly served my beverage. Placed an order for the puffy taco lunch special, one beef and one chicken. The server came back with my chips and salsa along with a cup of fideo soup. It was delicious as well as the salsa. It had a good bite without being overpowering. The tacos were delicious as well. I will be back!

This place has the best carne guisada! Not your typically heavy gravy Tex Mex style. Homemade tortillas, good beans, perfect potatoes… Everything you need for a great breakfast. We will back soon to check out lunch/dinner next.

I am a big believer in supporting your neighborhood businesses, this is one of the businesses that I support. I come here about three times a month and I’ve never had any issues here. The food has always been hot, fresh, and tasty. The prices and portions are very reasonable. The restaurant has a very colorful, cozy, low light, quiet atmosphere. The waitresses and waiters are always very friendly and courteous. Come try this place out!

This place was just alright I went for the breakfast taco. It really wasn’t worse or better than any other mexican restaurant. The waitress was nice and friendly.

Gross! I love chile relleno and I’ve had it many different ways but this place is sooo disgusting. My husband and I went here for lunch. There is another place called Agave right up the street(their parking lot was completely full so we descided to give this place a try) and what a mistake. The food was terrible and extremely over priced. On the menu it says that their chile relleno is voted«#1»…I’d really like to know by who because this was the worst chile relleno i’ve ever had. The flautas are also tastless and bland. They can’t even do salsa right. I should have known better then to go to this place because it was lunch time we were the only customers to show up and we were their a good 45 minutes.

Situated at the north end of Broadway, Cholula’s is kind of off the beaten path for me — but I’d watched its progress prior to opening a year or two ago, and was curious how it had turned out. Soooo…it’s a nice little place with friendly staff and good food! Open for breakfast and lunch, Cholula’s offers daily specials in addition to its comprehensive menu. Everything I tried was well-prepared: flour and corn tortillas(both made«in house»); chips and salsa; beans and rice. I found the guisada de puerco — chunks of pork in a chipotle-spiked tomatillo sauce — to be both tasty and refreshingly unusual. Service is exceptional, portions are ample; and the $ 6.49 lunch specials(which include tea) are a good deal. In summary: the detour to get to Cholula’s is well worth it!

Heard about Cholula’s from a friend of mine that said, «best carne guisada in SA», so I had to see for myself as I have a hard time finding a place that has good carne guisada. I went to have lunch at Cholula’s and had the carne guisada plate. My friend was right. The carne guisada was great! I have had some good carne guisada before around SA, but this changed my way of deciding where to get it. The best thing about their carne guisada was that there wasn’t any fat. It may be a drive for me, but this is where I am getting my carne guisada tacos from now.
