This location is nothing less then amazing. I get off of work very late and hate going into businesses that are somewhat about to close, but I know at this location the manager is a true gentleman. he always thanks me for coming in and choosing his store to enjoy my dinner and something about his demeanor is just contagious where the staff follows suit and will be extra accommodating(even 10 minutes till closing). So if you are in the area to get a great refreshing meal and wanna get the full value of your dollar Chipotle is the way to be. They give you plenty of food, great staff, and are far from stinchy. and do your taste buds a favor and get the corn salsa! Also if you’ve never been it is laid out like an assembly line: you walk in there, decide if you want a burrito/bowl/salad and then pick your 2meats, rice, beans, salsas, and veggies-if I can’t stress it enough the word of the day= satisfying! Also try the guacamole/chips=mmmmmmmmm muy delicioso

Today I visited Chipotle for my free item and I got my favorite thing from there which is a bowl. In my I got the whole grain cilantro rice, black beans, chicken, corn salsa and lettuce. I have to say I haven’t been to Chipotle since the«crisis» and it was truly missed. At this location the gentlemen that helped me were super friendly and nice and the serve was fast but accurate. The food taste great and I took it back to work with me(UTHSCSA) and it stayed nice and warm. Overall very tasty lunch and a great service!

Chipotle is awesome! This location isn’t the best. The parking is a hassle sometimes and let me pre-warn you — it gets crazy busy at lunch time! Overall though, it’s great and the employees are awesome!

This chipotle is a disgrace to the otherwise superb chain… Everything is always cold. Often burnt too. They skimp on the portions and sometimes refuse to give you the free tortillas on the side with the bowl. They need to get it together.

I have gone to way too many Chipotles in my lifetime(no shame), and I can honestly say that this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m in a new city(San Antonio vs. Houston) or not, but the portions here are the smallest I have ever encountered in my entire Chipotle-loving career. Half a scoop of corn? Literally, a pinch of lettuce? A quarter scoop of sauce? By the time I reached the cashier, my bowl was maybe 60% full. I hate being that customer that pesters the workers for extra… but next time(if there is a next time) I’m going to have too. The Chipotle is really nice and clean and the cashier is friendly. But the servers need to be more generous.(Especially because they’re serving people in the medical center aka very hungry/hangry/tired folks)

It was okay, but when I asked the guy if he could add a little more steak to my burrito, he little picked up one cube and put it on top. Talk about being rude. Anyway, the food tasted good. I also think they can clean up and organize a bit more too.

Great service. For being across the hospital they get you serviced pretty quickly. Quality of food is good and clean place considering the traffic this restaurant gets.

Consistently great! They typically have a crowd for lunch, but they move fast. It’s a convenient location, and they take care of their customers.

Barbacoa? This is Texas, our barbacoa is NOTHING like this. Whatever, I ate a «barbacoa» burrito the size of a rabbit. The flavor was bland since they pledge«no GMO’s» lol. I see now why they offer Patrón margaritas here: if you are liquored up, you will forget about the $ 42 you just spent on 4 burritos and 4 Cokes! Now I remember why I haven’t been to Chipotle in 5 years, bland food, hipsters, tofu burritos, and 4 burritos for the price of filling up my SUV. What makes me laugh is the people coming here for«no GMO’s» and«tofu», and then drinking a margarita followed by a night of «anything goes» in the gutters of this town. Of course there will be a kale-green coffee detox in the morning.

I work in the medical center and I am sad to see a restaurant take advantage of people who are limited to places where they can eat that are within walking distance. This location is always busy so one would think that they would be on their toes but it was not so. Every table was dirty, there were no utensils, no ice and the chips were stale.

Always consistently great quality. The ingredients are always fresh and well prepared, I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad experience

I’ve never had any problems at this chipotle. I like to believe they sympathize with the students and overfill their burrito bowls. Y’all are the real MVP’s. Customer service– they ran out of sofritas for their sofritas promotion back in January. They still gave every customer the promotion while allowing us to order meat.

I have been obsessed with burritos for a long time. They are probably my favorite food, and I eat them quite frequently. I go all different places to get them, but tonight, I went to the Chipotle in the Medical Center and it blew my mind. Chipotle was never my favorite burrito place, but tonight the ingredients were perfect and the guy they had rolling the burritos was a burrito god. I haven’t had a burrito as tasty or as perfectly wrapped as this one in years. I almost wanted to take a picture of it because it was so perfect looking, but I was too hungry and ate the whole thing in less than 2 minutes. I don’t know what they changed or if I was just blind and now I see, but I will be coming back again a lot. This just changed my opinion about Chipotle.

For a massive food producing chain, I love Chipotle. You get a ton of food, lots of choices, it is always fresh and good quality. Staff is always friendly, I have never had any issues. It’s always clean too! I do remember one time they were out of the corn salsa and I didn’t know what to do with myself. I LOVE that stuff! Otherwise, any Chipotle I go to, it’s always consistent and good! There prices are pretty reasonable, maybe a little on the higher side, but you get alot of fresh food for the price, so it’s OK in my book. It is certainly a healthier option then other fast food joints!

First time eating chipotle. Chips and guacamole were fantastic, I actually liked the way they made their guac. I got the burrito with carnitas, brown rice, pinto beans, cheese, and sour cream. Personally I didn’t think it was to die for. I think that’s because I need to try a different meat combo, and also I would like to try the guacamole in it. But other than that everything was good.

This Chipotle disappoints me pretty much every time I come here. Whether it’s busy or slow they just don’t have a solid group that gets things done efficiently. The food is fine, but there is just some level of disorder here constantly.

#1WORSTCHIPOTLEEVER. :[ i don’t usually see a point in rating chain restaurants but i guess this one stands out– in a not-so-great way unfortunately… so i was beyond excited when this chipotle opened up awhile back. i am a chipotle addict and can never get enough! we were seriously lacking in quick, yummy food here in the med center so when word got out about opening day, all my friends and i made sure we were there. day 1 was awesome. food was fresh and all the employees were excited to be there. the portion sizing was like nothing i’d seen at any other location though… all the scoops were on the small side and rather than dumping the regular spoonful of meat onto the burrito bowl, i guess the employees here were trained to daintily sprinkle the meat and toppings on, and very often even return a remaining half-scoop back into the container after judging that they had put enough food into your bowl. well, whatever, i thought. as long as the food here is fresh i can deal with smaller portion sizes. plus, what med student has time to drive to huebner during crazy exam weeks? well unfortunately, from day 1, things basically started going downhill. at some point, they introduced brown rice. awesome! but it was wayy undercooked and tasted like small pebbles. ick. then their food was consistently cold! and i’m not even talking about after getting it to go and driving all of 3 minutes back to my house. i mean cold even if i get it «for here» and eat it right away. not enjoyable. then ever since last year they started running out of food all the time… most frequently chicken(!), fajita veggies, and guac. all my must-haves! they also ran out of bowls on multiple occasions, and one time, on top of that, they were also out of lettuce, both types of rice and both types of beans… how?! the employees were not only unapologetic, but pretty much were never in a good mood. they have gotten some new employees over the last few months, but no one seems to value customer service or even smiles to say hi. a few months ago, chipotle had the whole adventurrito/farm team thing and after going through the farm team stuff online, you could choose to get a couple t shirts or like 7 burritos. ummm BURRITOS of course! no brainer. :) I was super excited to use my freebies and came to this location to redeem my first one. they told me my coupon code«wouldn’t go through» and the same thing happened for my husband, but we had just gotten the coupons via email and definitely hadn’t use any of them. they advised that we try back later or try a different coupon so we did, but every single time, they had trouble processing it. a couple times, we got lucky and it eventually worked, but the employees were visibly annoyed. extremely so. the times when it didn’t, they didn’t care that the vouchers were unused, unexpired, and clearly valid and they just said, «sorry, we can’t process this. you have to pay now.» i contacted chipotle customer service to ask about this and they were super understanding and mailed me free burrito cards for the ones i was unable to redeem. although i never had trouble using those physical cards at this location, every single time i did claim a free burrito, the employees made me feel like i was robbing them. they would get beyond annoyed and even mean sometimes. today, i got a my usual chicken+barbacoa bowl and when i used my free burrito card to pay, the two employees at the cash register started whispering(except i could hear what they were saying) and it pretty much went something like – employee a: «whatt they can get all that meat for free? …and guac?» employee b: «yeah, some of the customers know that if they get guac in the bowl it counts as part of the burrito bowl and it’s free so they take advantage.» employee a: «that’s ridiculous, i can’t believe they’re allowed to do that.» employee b hands me my food without saying anything. i smile and say thanks to both of them. employee a literally glares at me for an uncomfortably long amount of time as i leave. soo awkward. well, i’ll give them a grand total of 1.5 stars — for good location and a generally clean restaurant. but that’s pretty much all they have going for them.

UPDATEALERT!!! :) Went back over the weekend to give this location another try and I was very pleasantly surprised to see improvements/updates on all of the items I briefly touched on during my first review. And of course, I am not self-absorbed enough to believe for even one minute that it was my review which spearheaded the improvements(although I’m not ruling it out 100% wink wink) nevertheless, I am happy to see such attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction. –They had their usual grass-fed meats this time around, woo hoo! Tried their chicken for the first time and was really digging the delicious BBQ/grilled flavor –The same gentleman who made my burrito the first time has gotten some practice! My burrito did not bust this time(although it came close!) and he actually cracked a smile this time, extra points :) –Margaritas have arrived!!! Even the Patron one. Definitely going to try that one next time around. –The young lady who assisted my other half was EXACTLY the type of employee I am accustomed to from the Huebner Oaks location… bubbly, chipper, and very friendly. It was her first time making a Quesorito(secret menu item!) and she sure could’ve fooled me because it came out GREAT! I will be back soon!
