This business is located on the 1st floor of the John Peace Library at UTSA and is an abbreviated-menu type of Chick-fil-A. This means their menu is limited, offering some of their most popular sandwiches and of course, waffle fries. Since this is a Chick-fil-A express, it’s set up as a grab-and-go type of offering and they have rows of sandwiches and fries sitting under the heat lamps for you to take as you see fit. Unfortunately, this means your sandwich and fries could have been sitting there for a while before you got to them. But in a way, I guess it adds to the excitement and makes the experience a type of culinary«Russian roulette». Fortunately though, the sheer number of students grabbing and going keeps them rotating their stock pretty consistently so you are more than likely to get something on the better side of acceptable. Just know going in that sometimes it’s the luck of the draw and unfortunately I’ve been on both sides of the food quality while dining here. But for something quick you can’t complain too much and they earn points for also offering some breakfast choices as well. So if you’re in the mood to «eat mor chikin»(and don’t want to leave campus) this is the place!
