Came to San Antonio to attend one of my friends wedding and had to stay in town for the next few days after the wedding to meet my friend. We went on a dinner to this place and chose to have our table in the corridors to enjoy the pleasant weather. The service given by the waiter is highly appreciable as he had to run around us from the kitchen to get the food. The food tasted too good. Kudos to the chefs. All credits to the server.

You just can’t say enough about the service, particularly at the bar. Gary is awesome and no matter how long I have been away, he remembers me and my name. The food speaks for itself.

Food is okay for a San Antonio chain, but the bar ruined my experience. It was my anniversary so I ordered a double makers mark. I got a watered down drink that literally left a bad taste in my mouth. The waitress served from the wrong side and got upset when I tried to catch the plate, as I always do when served from across the table. The bartender kept staring me down after I complained to him about the drink and overall the staff just wasn’t welcoming. Bad vibe.

Normally I love Carrabas. I made mistake of getting pizza. It was not good. Barely any cheese or toppings. Just sauce and very thin crust. I’ll be back but won’t get pizza. Go back to Chicken Bryan.

I rate this restaurant 2 stars due to the lack of flavor in the food and price. The service was pretty decent, but it was an exceptionally slow night. I had the Chicken Parmesan and requested meat sauce on my pasta, instead of the traditional pomodorro. The breading on the chicken had too much of a pepper taste that was not satisfying, and the meat sauce was too bland. For this to be a $ 19 plate is insane, and I will not be returning to Carrabba’s ever again. I would much rather go further out of my way to Olive Garden where I know I can always have an excellent Chicken Parmesan with meat sauce and for a much better price. Carrabba’s is overrated and overpriced.

I love their chicken marsala and terra misu! They also have the cheapest price I’ve ever paid for my favorite bottle of wine in a restaurant. We’re regulars.

Was greeted by our server who obviously plays captain Hook on weekends at children’s parties when the frozen cast is already over booked. He decided to establish his dominance by seating us in the corner away from everybody else. Upon arrival of my entrée I had to dig through what I can only describe as a forest of rabbit food to get to my chicken. For some reason my chicken was crusted in panko bread crumbs which is typically used in ASIAN cuisine. Clearly this Italian chain is still a strong believer in the Axis Powers… unfortunately I was unable to find the hidden German influence in my dish. Will return for another olive oil bath.

We enjoyed this italian restaurant. I loved their choice of salads compare to Olive Garden. My husband steak was overcooked but he liked it especially spicy butter on it. We had no desert but looking forward to come again.

I really love Carrabas. It may not be the best Italian food ever, but it always good, and consistently good! This was a business lunch today with 6 people, and the service was excellent! We were seated as soon as we walked in and our meal was served quickly and correctly with no problems with anyone’s order. And everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered. The only thing we noticed is that the music was up just a little too loud, but that’s probably because it can get really loud the way this restaurant is arranged. It did not impede our conversation, however. Bottom line: good food, good service, okay prices for this area.

One star because of their seating. They remodeled. They added booths up front and in bar area, however, people waiting to be called are hanging over the short wall staring at you eating. People standing in the bar area have their butts against your back as they wait. I waited an hour and got to watch the inconsiderate people hanging over and spilling into people’s booths as they ate. The food is not that great and neither are the prices. Last time for me.

I used to work at Carrabba’s when I was in college and I am still obsessed with their food so I always want Carrabba’s… When I found this location I was over the moon because since we moved to San Antonio I had no idea that there was one here so whoohoo. This location is either brand new or newly renovated because it is like no other Carrabba’s I have ever seen and I like it. It is very sophisticated and inviting! We have been here a few times and the service has always been pretty good and we have had to wait for a table a few times but we were kept in the loop the whole time. The food at this location has always been quite consistent as delicious and always hot. Unfortunately this past time we had two small issues… my side salad was covered in dressing to the point that you couldn’t see the green of the lettuce because it was white from all the dressing so I couldn’t finish it but my mezzaluna was to die for as always. My husband has had trouble the past few times with beer selection because they tell him they do have something and then they don’t and it went back and forth a few times until he just decided to get coke. Other than that I still love me some Carrabba’s and they will have me as a customer for life!

Awesome! Wife and I tried this tonight it was amazing. Calamari was great, the breading was crispy with a great seasoning. We also had the steak with spicy butter(Legit) and shrimp that was rich and awesome. To top off the night we had an amazing server Jacob!!! Thank you. We would of thought of going back for the food but we will definitely be heading back because of service!!!

I’ve dined in, but recently we’ve done the curbside carryout several times and they always nail it! The grilled items have a great flavor. We’ve tried several chicken and pork entrées and all have been delicious. Since they remodeled, I feel they’ve improved a lot. Carrabba’s is my new favorite Italian restaurant in San Antonio.

The service was amazing! Our server Andrew(Drew) was amazing, very knowledgeable and fun and efficient. Now the food, I had the pork tenderloin with fig sauce and it was the BEST decision ever. Kudos to the Chef!!! I also appreciate the portion sizes, completely doable and not oversized. For dessert we ordered the Tiramisu… taste was good but it was too big. Overall loved this place and will be back with my other family. Thank you for a great service!

ATTENTION!!! Love! Love! Love the food! Made reservations a week in advanced, gave them a few calls to add seats. We were a group of 10 and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. They talked me through many items on the menu, because I couldn’t make up my mind and they seemed to genuinely want to help. Food was amazing delicious. Prices were in the double digits, but very worth ever dollar. Food arrived earlier then we thought since we were a large group. Our cups were never empty. We ended up giving ¼th of our cake to the employees and they came by our table to thank us. Well mannered employees, I was in heaven! We were there for 3 hours and were never rushed. Will definitely return, hopefully soon! Already planning to have my anniversary dinner here. I recommend the Caesar salad, the fettuccine carrabba, their Arnold palmer’s were delicious! Definitely give them a try! Have never had such great customer service, especially at a restaurant! Beyond satisfied!

We went with friends last night and as always, it was wonderful! Our waitress was very helpful the entire evening and let us sample each of the sangria’s so that we could order the best one! The only bad thing I could say is that our bread wasn’t warm and it actually tasted old, which is odd as we were there at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. Even cold, it was still good as was the rest of the meal. We even went ahead and ordered a John Cole even though it wasn’t made with Blue Bell. It’s not their fault Blue Bell can’t be found right now. Although I do hope they plan on going back to Blue Bell once the country is saturated with it?! ;)

Came in during lunch. The hostess and our server were very polite and attentive, however the food itself wasn’t good. My mother and I both had the lobster mac and cheese, but the sauce was very watery and didn’t coat the noddles at all, causing the entire dish to have no flavor. My father had the tilapia and my sister had the chicken with eggplant. Neither were happy with their dish and none of us finished even half our plates. The only good thing was the lentil soup. If I’m ever forced to return, I’ll simply order a bowl of the soup and be content.

Lighter Fare Food is typically good. Service can be slow — whether you’re dining at a table, sitting in the bar or at the bar. It’s always good to know when you have ‘take away’ or ‘boxed leftovers’ that EVERYTHING on your table your ordered and asked to be boxed, was actually ‘boxed’ and not omitted. We are becoming disenchanted with this restaurant(more than once) when paying $ 40-$ 45 for lunch only to return home to find a much lighter fare than what is fair for our $$. Wait staff and bartenders truly could use some training for follow-up, follow-through with customers.

Came in during the day at lunch. I know things must get done but repairs to a bar was being done while trying to enjoy my meal. No thanks, food was not good at all. Not even joking. Had to request twice to have my tea replaced because it was just disgusting. Switched to water and that glass was dirty around the top area. Nice update but keep construction hours after hours. Never again.

The brand new remodel vibe is most excellent ! The feel is more open and inviting, the furniture and fabric selects are in perfect balance. There is a much more upscale sophisticated feel to the place, well timed and needed. Well done! The food was as always very good for the value, my wife had the steak Marsalis and I the seafood pasta combo. Where we lacked this evening was the service, our server Trevor appeared to be new and on a hurry. He needed to slow down a bit and enjoy the company. He asked if our meal was prepared well and to our satisfaction and before I could answer he turned and walked away… huh? Other than that a good time and a return in our future, we just love sitting at the cook line bar and watching the cooks, good time.

What a great place to come for lunch. You’re able to have a great lunch with great service in a nice restaurant for less than what a lot of lower quality restaurants charge. Good atmosphere and very friendly service. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

My pregnant wife wished to dine at this establishment and we noticed that it is undergoing some renovations. However, there is no improvements needed to the fine cuisine. I chose to stray from the usual chicken parm, and went with conchiglly formaggie with chicken and it was Devine. My wife had done ravioli spinach thang and those were just as delectable. Then we topped it all off with a chocolate layer cake dessert. It was scrumtrulescent!

I don’t go to chains often, but when I do… This place is consistently satisfying with quality, taste, price, ambiance and service. Some of my favorite dishes are the rigatoni and the chicken marsala. Service has always been good, sometimes too much of the up sell and scripted dialogue, but you can break ‘em with some joking. Love the bread and olive oil they bring out! The caprese salad is my favorite appetizer, fave soup is the tomato bisque. You can get a great, filling meal for two for around 50 – 60, without drinks. Pretty much know what you’re getting here.
