I went here because I was looking for a good burger close to home. The location was nice because it never seems to be super loud or crowded and the staff is pretty friendly. I love that relaxed feel I get when I go in. big screen tv to watch and no other annoying«next table» neighbors bothering me with high pitched, annoying drunk laugher or yelling about their day because it’s too loud to hear anything. I don’t know what the deal is with the ad for the towns best«greasy, sloppy burger» because mine was neither. The burger was nicely seasoned but, in my opinion. not quite juicy or thick enough. I asked them to cook it medium but, I think they forgot. see above about not juicy. I do like the way they apply the condiments. chopped tomatoes and lettuce. The fries are good and tater tots were good as well. The milkshake was pretty awesome and a nice end to my meal. Despite my complaints, I will still be back!

I’m glad I waited to write a review of Billy T’s. The first time I came to this location was the week it opened. I was happy the restaurant reopened(previously off the Rittiman and Austin Hwy intersection) but I was sad to see the empty walls. So, so sad. Now, a year or so later the walls are jam packed with concert tickets and posters. Now that’s the Billy T’s I remember! Oh yeah the food is pretty good too. I always request the whole wheat bun, it just feels better to order my greasy burger/sandwich on. They improved their chicken sandwich too. It’s not little pieces of chicken anymore, it’s actually a chicken breast. Don’t pass on the fries. I like to get a side of honey mustard to dip mine in.

As I watched Danny C bite into a juicy burger doused in ketchup, nestled between a grilled bun, I immediately regretted the salad sitting in front of me. And then as he plunged the first french fry(cooked to a perfect crunch/gooey ratio with the skin on) I regretted it even more. So, I looked down at the salad in front of me: lettuce, tomatoes, cubes of grilled chicken; and then back at his burger: grease dripping down his hands; and I begrudgingly took the first bite of my salad cursing the day I decided to live a stupid healthy lifestyle. WHOORDERS A SALADAT A BURGERJOINT, KRYS? YOU’REBETTERTHANTHAT! But then, a funny thing happened. My grilled chicken was so delicious, so perfectly moist and flavorful, so wonderfully paired with the tomatoes and salsa I was using as salad dressing that I was quite happy eating it. I no longer felt the jealousy boiling inside me every time Danny C took a bite. I was even able to listen to him talk about the top secret concert we’re planning. Woops, did I just write that?

Very dissappointed with the burgers. We’ve visited twice now since they moved to the new location and have been underwhelmed both times. The service was relatively poor with the cashier taking our order then sending us to find a seat and informing us the food would be delivered to the table only after I asked. The food was slow in coming both times with an extremely long wait on our second visit. Seemed to be a fairly standard greasy burger and the onion rings were VERY greasy. Unfortunately, I do not expect we will return.
