Although the food is good, the service is terrible. They cannot get an order correct to save their souls. It has got to be the most consistently poor service in a fast food restaurant that I have ever seen. Buyer beware!

Everyone liked it. I think brisket was a little bit too thick and dry but sauce surely helps. Fries are huge. We will be back for those pies…

I went through the drive thru and the speaker wasn’t working well so the girl told me to drive up. Then the girl at the window had no idea what was going on and was very rude in trying to take my order. The food was decent. Not the best from Bill’s, in service or food.

This location across from Utsa is terrible if want a brisket Poorboy. I ordered through the drive thru and got home to find no meat in the Poorboy. Just pure fat, no meat. What a dissapointment. I called to complain and was offered a free future replacement. The manager said they need to work on training. Well I don’t take them on offers on free meals. I just hope they get better. Nope got another porboy after a month and im pulling out one inch pieces of fat again. I hope they get their act together.

I was reading reviews and was wondering if I’m the only one that noticed that Bill Millers does not serve breast meat with their fried chicken. They give you a sliver of meat with a back /ribs portion and call that a breast. Extremely disappointed. I quit doing their fried chicken and only go there when there is not any other options available.

This morning we stopped in to the Bill Miller Babcock location on a VERY busy Saturday morning. My family went through to the inside To Go line for breakfast tacos and came out with a bag full ~ in less than 5 minutes. My husband commented, «This is why we come here ~ the Best breakfast tacos in town, fast service EVERY time and they do it right.» My husband and older son stop by & eat in every morning to spend some time before their busy day. All of the staff is friendly, professional and quick. Good Job, Bill Miller! Thanks for providing fresh, quality food, hiring Awesome staff and maintaining an excellent work ethic.

Try the fried chicken if you stop here. I wasn’t impressed with the brisket but I recommend the fried chicken. Tea is real good as well. For desert you need to try the brownies and peach cobbler. You will be pleased with with either one.

Damn their breakfast tacos are the best around. Can’t top their bean and cheese tacos.

I love the food here. But I’m pretty turned off from ordering again. At this location I saw ALL staff, including the manager, not wearing gloves. They were slapping meat on our sandwiches with their bare hands, both right in front of me and in the back. Literally no one with gloves. Its also scary that their tea comes from a literal open bucket. I don’t trust the hygiene here.

Accidentlly jumped into the drive thru’s line without ordering since I didn’t see the drive thru menu machine. I was pretty embarrassed but the server at the window still took my order and they quickly took my food to my car. Food and service is great! I definitely recommend.

The food is good as far as Bill Miller’s goes, but would it kill you guys to include utensils or ketchup for drive thru orders??? I’m coming on my 30 minute lunch break and the last thing I want to do is scramble to find utensils and condiments before having to clock in!

They have AMAZING hashbrowns! Also, their gravy is so good. Their fried chicken is the best!!!

The main problem I have with Bill Millers is the early morning tacos. The tortillas are usually from the day before. If you arrive about ½ to 1 hour after they open you stand a better chance of getting fresh tortillas. Otherwise be prepare for touch and crusty ones. This seems to be the same at other locations as well.

Breakfast tacos are AMAZING!!! Their potatoes have seasonings and it is perfect for the extra flavor in the AM! I usually get the Bean Potato Cheese but their bacon is amazing as well! The drive through line is always long, but Bill Miller is REMARKABLY speedy in the AM. I also really enjoy their unsweetened tea because they give you limes!

Where to start? wife went to get us 2 beef Poor boys at the Millitary Dr./Roosevelt Ave. store and the Poor Boys were the worst that we’ve every had. To begin with she had ordered the PB’s with the sauce on the side, as to prevent mushy bread, well they were a mushy mess and then most of the meat that was in there seemed to be left over fat and tough scrap meat ends that they usually trash. I guess they figured they would dump this slop meat on us since she went through the drive thru at 8:45 p.m. and that they would be closed by the time we figured out that we had been shafted. I’ll be sure to mention to who ever will listen to avoid this store near closing time. Also I forgot to mention the fries were dark brown/soggy and tasted more like over used cooking oil than potato fries. Other than that I really hadn’t had a bad experience at Bill“s. Avoid this store.

What a place and the people were great. The food was great, the restraint was clean and the waiters were always cleaning up when people left. Just awesome.

I wish I had the same experience as everyone else. Literally just left this place feeling the same as I walked in. Hungry. Service was good, the young lady who took our order was very kind, but the food was disgusting. I ordered the chicken sandwich or whatever it was called, and was disgusted after the first bite. The sandwich was mushy like its been sitting there all day soaking in the sauce. Forced myself to finish at least half of it so I wouldn’t waste my money. Never coming again. Sorry!

Very good food and service — just as consistent as all the other Bill Miller’s. Nothing bad to say about them.

Wow… I’ve never seen such HUGE sweet tea cups in my life! So much tea, so little time!!! Came here with a group of 20 the other day ago. Quick and easy. Got through the line fast and our orders were up within 5 minutes. Wham Bam Thank you Maam. :) I had the fried chicken tenders with fries. Yum. Hubster had the sliders with fries. The food was pretty decent. I enjoyed the seasoning on the fries. Didn’t need to add anything. :) Overall, great experience.

So does it really matter which Bill Millers location I review? Negative. If you are any smart San Antonian then you learned the magic behind the consistency to Bill Millers’ BBQ long, long ago. Deep in the heart of San Antonio is an industrial sized kitchen where all of the real bbq and cooking is done. Most things are cooked to near done-ness, as well as many that are completed there specifically. Items are then distributed amongst various locations throughout the city. Only some things are cooked on a daily basis on site. Interesting. Who cares though… I love it. I enjoy many things from Bill Millers: crispy fried chicken legs, succulently juicy yet crispy chicken breast tenders, thick cut steak fries, crispy hash browns, green beans, pinto beans, coleslaw, vegetable beef soup, sausage, extra lean brisket, chopped beef. The possibilities are endless. I honestly have a different meal every time I come to Bill’s, not something I do often. I do admit however that the prices are a little high for FAST food BBQ. If you want a 2 meat, 2 side platter and drink expect to pay just under ten dollars per person. Don’t get me wrong, it is delicious… just not something I would get all the time. I indulge myself when in town visiting family and always glad that they aren’t here in Dallas. I would probably add on about ten pounds, easily :) Oh, and get the sweet tea — best around.
