There seems to be some interesting finds in here, but unfortunately the place is so disorganized no one will know. Ask about the reclaimed pieces she has that survived the OLLU fire! She’s also a tad overpriced.

Every time I’ve been to Beacon Hill, I’ve found something unique and awesome from a 5 tiered brass incense burner to a cool low rider rocking chair, vintage glassware and an awesome pewter glass bottom mug. I agree the place could use organizing because she’s got so much stuff in the back that I’m sure is just as awesome. But the place is like it’s owner, a hot mess and quite odd and unique so meh, doesn’t bother me. She’s always been friendly to me and I’ve never had a problem with the prices. She’s always willing to haggle and I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of there paying the first price she gave me. My only compliant is that she doesn’t take cards.

This is a great store. I don’t mind that it’s a tad out of order… I can’t imagine expecting it to be organized with all the gems they have here! Tons of goodies!

Disorganized mess! Not that I’m complaining, but usually when you see a store in such a mess the prices are low and it’s fun to look! Here, the the store is from the show«hoarders», prices are HIGH if you can find a price and the help is always on the phone! Keep going don’t stop.

No No No No No! The inside of this place is like something out of the show«Hoarders». Piles and piles of stuff everywhere. Its almost hazardous just to be in there. God forbid you actually find something you may be interested in & go to pull it out. You’d be buried under a smelly old avalanche! And the items that WERE visible had no price tags. Once we actually found the owner(who had been sitting in the middle of this hoard the whole time we were there) and asked how much things were… OHMYGOSH! Waaaaaay overpriced! Best bet is Capitol Antiques just a block or two away.

I was so excited when I walked by Beacon Hill on my way to another thrift store(Hoolio’s). There is so much STUFF in here. I really wanted to stop in. Seemed like you could find some really cool vintage-y type stuff. It looks like your grandmother’s attic. Like several grandmothers’ attics. And it’s all jumbled together. There are, like two pathways through all the junk in here. It’s anything you could possible imagine. From like 10+ years ago. I think I saw the very first cd player ever sold there. The two major problems I saw here were: 1. The complete unorganization. There was just piles of junk everywhere. 2. Things in here are pricey for what they are. $ 60 for an old school Mickey Mouse phone? I don’t know if you’re supposed to haggle here. Anyway, I did see some cool stuff, but I think if they organized it up, it would be easier to spot something.
