About 5 yrs ago this place was really thriving but the few times I have been back its obvious this place has lost it vibe & most of all its runned so poorly. After asking around ppl have mainly said the same reason, its due to the woman in charge at this location has ruined the atmosphere for many folks and you can see it in the dwindling of the crowds over the years here. I must admit something has definitely changed about this place and its not for the better, the ladies room bathroom doors are all still broken or off the same way I remembered last years ago, nothing has been upgraded here and they also don’t have great specials like they use to. My family and I still go once in awhile to the other location on Roosevelt and we’re greatful the atmosphere is still warm and inviting and the staff & people are always fun to mingle with.

This is a friendly joint with great beer selections that are always cold. The owner sponsors pool tournaments, and other events that are always cool.

I came here last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. At first I had no idea there were two B&N’s in town. I only knew of the one on Roosevelt across from Wal-Mart. My impression: place is GHETTO! Before you set foot inside the place, there’s an armed security guard ready to pat you down. Not really a good sign. But at least you’ll be safe from being assaulted by a deadly weapon like guns, knives, brass knuckles, bats, hammers, screwdrivers, pipes, etc., not so sure about some angry, crazy drunk’s flying fists though. The only good thing is that you can bring your own booze. Most of the clientele range from wannabe cholos to hoodrats that look or try to look like Snooki or J-Woww from Jersey Shore.
