We didn’t go to their brick and mortar location. They have a truck that comes to the Westside on Friday’s and Saturdays. So we found out from their Facebook page where they would be, and tracked them down. I have never tried Puerto Rican food before, so I had no idea what to expect. I decided to play it safe and tried the beef empanadas, and fried plantains. The empanadas were filled generously with ground beef, and the sauce that came with it was awesome. The fried plantains needed a little more flavor, but I just dipped them in the sauce for the empanadas and they were good. They gave us another dipping sauce but I’m not sure if was for the empanada or the plantains but it had too strong a flavor of vinegar, but this won’t stop me from coming back and trying something else. Oh, and did I mention, the people? More than anything, the people that work there are the best! So nice and helpful, they explained just about everything they have on their menu so we knew exactly what it was. Just from the customer service standpoint, I will go back! Good customer service is so hard to come by these days!
