This place is decent. But they can be very busy and get rushed. I get shellac manicure and its priced accordingly… If u choose to go try a Saturday around 5ish or during the week around 6:30 less busy. Don is the owner and he’s a sweetheart does great work.

Note: I always try to be courteous to people in the service industry… I’ve been here several times. I don’t remember their names unfortunately. The same 4 people are there each time I go 2 men and 2 women. The older lady and the taller guy always do the pedicures. Well the last month they had the pedicure lady finish my nails and she couldn’t even shape them the way I asked and gets frustrated and handed me the nail file. smh. When I first started coming here the lady with the blonde-ish hair would do my nails. The few times she did each time, she would be on her cell phone for half the time she was doing my nails and she would just be kind of short with you which I don’t care because I don’t need you to make small talk to do my nails. When I asked for ballerina nails that were shorter than how they’re traditionally done she stated that it wouldn’t look good short so I let her do them how they would«look right», at an additional charge of course. The next few visits I ended up getting Ed(I think that’s what he said can’t remember). He was more pleasant. Today unfortunately he already had someone in the chair when I got there so I ended up getting the«blonde-ish«haired cell phone talker. I sit down she starts the small talk. And begins my nails. I ask her to cut down the cuticles and she just starts saying I can’t do that. so I show her that one was uneven and she’s adamant that she can’t do that, she can only do NAILS. Her tone and this new policy irritated ms but I understand if you are not allowed to do it(even though«Ed» did it 2 weeks ago) it seemed her demeanor was changing into attitude mode. So she asks what shape I want. I say pointy but a little short… her famous response«it won’t look good». AND its a extra $ 5. I dont care, I still have her cut them the length that is manageable for me and I STILL want the shape I asked for. But i get more attitude. Long story short she started taking less care filing my nails she started pulling my hand and using the nail drill really carelessly nipping my cuticles. I dont know if she was doing it as to say«you want your cuticles gone? Ill show you!» Or of she was just doing it fast and didn’t care what she was doing. So my nails look more almond than pointy and when she starts painting she’s slapping the paint on quickly missing spots etc. She slaps on the clear coat to where it starts to drip on my skin. So im inspecting as she goes. When she’s done she stands up with an attitude and I don’t know if she was going to help with my purse or not(they usually do) but I ended up grabbing it with my wet nails and all. She didn’t come to turn on the dryer or anything. «Ed» comes to the back doing whatever he was doing and starts small talk so I ask him if he can write his name on a card(so I can make an appointment next time) I sat there for 2 drying cycles and he didn’t bring a card with his name on it… when my nails dry I get the money leave exact change for the service and leave the business card that i had picked up ealier(so i knew the hours) with the payment and left because I won’t be needing it again. I dont feel like i misinterpreted the situation, you know when someone gives you attitude. You may have a better experience than I did as long as you don’t ask them to do something out of the ordinary…

Got color shellac. It looks like I did it myself, using my left hand. I’ve been here two times. Both times the workers did it in a rush. Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else. Not worth it.

I went here based on the reviews. First, my manicure: the middle finger on the right hand is butchered; the cuticle is bleeding on both sides. Also, there are bumps in the polish on the majority of the nails. Second, my pedicure: he cut my big toenail so short that he tried to glue it back on with nail glue and in the process glued his finger to my toe. This place is terrible.

The owners are rude most of the time. The other employees are so very nice. Needs a good cleaning. Too bad they aren’t nicer to their employees and customers.

I chose this salon because of previous reviews and because they are in my general neighborhood. They have five techs working this Saturday afternoon, three women and two men. I am having quite a wait which is unfortunate as the soaking water is below tepid and I prefer hot.(If you tried to bathe a baby in this water the poor thing would freeze!) Looking around, the salon is as clean as others I’ve been to around here — sort of adequate. They have a good selection of Opi polishes and other brands. Good range of colors. Salon is busy — eight clients, 4 of whom came in after me. 20 minutes and I am still waiting. I am reminded that being a nail tech is a hard way to make a living. The pedicure did happen — competent, pretty gentle, no sugar or salt scrub(maybe I didn’t ask for the right thing but they didn’t offer). Color is going on now, then it’s under the lights and home. At this point I have been here one hour for a very basic pedicure. Probably 1 hour 15 in total. I rarely have this kind of time. So it’s three stars but I will probably try them again.

Highly recommend«Ms. Kym» for all pedicures ! Must ask/wait for her or they will place you with the 1st available tech. This isn’t a fancy place and they could stand to dust/clean it a tad.
