We have past by this bar a few times and have been wanting to check it out for a while Stopped by today for the very first time and bartender «Scott» gave me attitude when I asked for a specific beer. Very unprofessional and bad attitude and unwelcoming. Maybe I’ll stop by another time when «SCOTT» is not there. The bar was empty, maybe this has something to do with «Scott»
Had to select at least 1 star, however, my true rating is ZERO STARS for now…

Not coming back to a bar where the bartender «scott» treats new customers like shit.
Being the fact that we were the only ones here i’d like to think we would’ve been treated well.

Alibi’s is the definition of friendly neighborhood bar. Nick the owner is a fantastic host. The staff call him family and if you spend enough time at the bar you probably will too. The look and feel of the building is welcoming and homey. If you’re in San Antonio do yourself a favor and stop in for a spell.

Great local joint. We were disappointed that there were no draft beers but the bartender was so attentive and took so much time to talk about the local beers they serve that we didn’t care about drafts any more! Worth the effort to get away from the river walk kitsch.

Came in the night of the Luke Bryan Concert. Thought it looked like a beer bar, so I stopped in for a drink. There was a female bartender with a short bob. Could not have been more rude. I asked if they had anything on tap, she rudely said «no bottles only.» Then took another person’s order. I asked for 2 beers, she then said «I’ll get to you when it’s your turn.» Then took the person across the bar’s order. I decided to leave rather than give this place money. I went went next door to Alamo station and was treated with respect. I live in San Antonio and go downtown often. If I would of had a good experience, would have went back and even recommended it to others. But this bartenders disrespectful service (they weren’t even that busy) will ensure I never give this place another chance, and neither should you.

A neat little spot in St Paul Square to grab a drink. This bar is built within an old house and has a cool funky vibe to it. Drinks are cheap and company is friendly.

My last stop on amtrak was san antonio and I kept hearing on the train about this bar right by sunset station so a few buddies who I had just met had a layover for about 4 hours and we all went to alibi’s and I must say I had a BLAST!!! It was the last time to hangout with my new friends before they had to leave. It was a perfect night with drinks and good friends. Awesome Place would definitely go back

I was here on a seven week detail for work and this was my go to bar while here in San Antonio. The staff is excellent. The drinks are reasonably priced. The crowd is mostly locals until later in the evening when some out of towners may roll in. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Dez, Scotty, rusty, and Tiffany for making me feel welcome and keeping the beer flowing. Hope to be back soon.

Came in with some friends. They were about the close early but we had 10 altogether and wee very accommodating.
Nice selection of drinks but they ran out of Tito’s Vodka which should be a sin.

Supernova of stars right here. Six million thumbs up. All of the YES. I mean only go if you want to meet the best, most fantastic, bartenders you could ever dream of.
But seriously, this place will change your life for the better. 10x better than Scientology.

Super friendly bartenders and patrons. Drink prices are very reasonable. Lots of outdoor seating. They have several tvs and darts. On Fridays they make tacos outside. DJ on weekends.

We were visiting in from Los Angeles, and we met the NICEST bartender EVER. SCOTT IS THE MAN. Had a great time with cheap drinks and live music and just a good crowd. Definitely a must visit if you’re in town

Came here on a Spurs home game night, with every intention of spending the whole game there and had 5 people meeting my brother and I. NOPE.
Beer was cold and the bar has a full selection. That’s the good part.
Parking is a nightmare for this area, so I won’t fault Alibi’s for that. We walk in and the Spurs aren’t on. There does seem to be some very well dressed people pre gaming before whatever banquet they were going to. The bartender was in no rush to change the channel from whatever football game nobody was watching, over to the Spurs. The TVs in this place (4) are very oddly placed too. Not really in a sports bar type set up. The wood chairs and the small tables are extremely wobbly as well. Had 1 beer and went to a sports bar.

As a bar, an easy four stars, but factor in a super friendly GM, a killer black-​cherry margarita, walking distance to our hotel (on the other side of 37) and the flow of pizza delivery people through the place, it was a very enjoyable experience.
PS. There is a also very inviting outdoor patio.
