We had a «bubbles and balls» themed party in the backyard for our 2 year old, and wanted a cake option that went along with the theme. I read the reviews on Unilocal, and a friend also recommended Alamo Sweets. So happy to discover this place! Linda, the owner, was wonderful. She accurately helped me figure out how many cake balls we would need(happy to have a few leftovers!), and had great suggestions for the color and decoration of the balls. They were darling! While most of our party-goers had just one, I saw one 3 year old eat about 7. Clearly they were a hit! The other, more traditional cakes that I saw when I ordered and picked up were beautiful. We will definitely return.

Best cake pops ever! They catered an event I did with aprox. 50 cake pops — all were incredible and packaging was perfect! Such attention to detail! A pleasure to work with!

What delicious cake balls, and cakes! Linda was fantastic! My daughters loved their barbie princess and littlest pet shop cake! Her miniature fondant littlest pet shop were not only just like the toys but kids thoroughly enjoyed eating them! My kids call her the«Cake Boss Lady» :)

I agree with the review regarding the cake balls. I was expecting them to pop with flavor when they hit my taste buds… and was disappointed. They are moist and rich and delicious, don’t get me wrong… but with all the candy colors and descriptive flavors, one really expects a party-in-the-mouth experience. The bakery is darling though. I saw all the other goodies and will have to go back and try some of those. I hope they work on jazzing up their balls, just need to infuse more flavor!

I agree with others who are amazed by the smell of the great sweets. Had the woopie pies and they are fantastic. Great selection of cookies and cake balls. Linda the owner is a great soul and will accomodate your cake requests for birthdays, or other celebrations. Linda has a great story of doing what you love in life.

Hmm… I really wanted to give it a better review… This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and I kind of wondered why I came so many times. I think because they are pleasing to the eye… But it’s food… if you pay for it, it should taste wonderful too!!! The cake balls are kind of tasty… BUT… They all taste THESAME!!! The various flavors are«rich tasting» like cake and butter cream and the melting chocolate they are dunked in, however, the are not varying in flavor at all. Pistachio, cherry chip, orange dreamsicle, pink champagne, they all sound amazing… They even look amazing. The texture is very nice as well. But the taste is what it all boils down to for me. I can’t believe I am saying this, but… they are a bit bland. I don’t want to pay $ 1.25 per cake ball or $ 1.50 per cake pop and have their various flavors taste almost indistinguishable. Sorry but I’ve had better. Much better! In fact, I believe I can make better cake balls myself.

I pulled open the door and was immediately met by the most deliciously sweet smells imaginable. The aroma grabbed hold of my nose and pulled me to the counter where my eyes were pleasantly surprised to see such an incredible selection in the admittedly small café space. But don’t let the size fool you, this bakery cranks out goodies and treats that well, are good enough to eat! This shop is run by Linda, who is about as sweet and welcoming as her delicious treats. She whips up all types of goodies like cake balls, special occasion cakes, gooey ooey cinnamon rolls, and even sausage kolaches if you get there early enough. While you’re welcome to come in and order off the shelf, she is also available to custom create whatever you want to see on your plate. It’s all really quite amazing. And if you don’t take my word for it, take my five year old goddaughter’s: «That’s the yummiest tWeat I have ever had in my life!» ha!
