I had my eyelash extensions done in NYC 4 weeks ago and I was hesitant to find a decent place here in San Antonio. I searched and searched for a good place for a fill in, called in and spoke to this straight to the point gentleman named Mike. He made my appointment (26 July) way far out in advance (good sign, this means that they have clientele), I was called this morning 20 July at about 10 am to inform me that there had been a cancellation and that I was welcomed to have the appt! At this point I’m like ok… this is cool, he remembered that I needed an earlier appt ;), went to my appt today and was floored by Yolanda’s amazing work! My Nova lash extensions look amazing and I was very pleased. She explained the care of the lashes and her recommendations for future fills. Overall I will definitely be coming back! I went to Yolanda after I got my eyelashes butchered at Salon Flor (terrible experience). Yolanda is certified with Novalash and does a wonderful job. The room is very spa-​like in nature with a running fountain of water and she has socks for you to wear and a blanket if you get cold. She is very meticulous with putting on the lashes and does a wonderful job. The only reason why I only gave 4 stars is I didn’t get a big enough impact that I was looking for. I am used to a pretty big impact when I get lashes done and Yolanda’s is more of a natural look. Still great but not as big of an impact as I am used too. I continued going to her for over 6 months for regular refills. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a certified professional with a great bedside manner.

I had the BEST experience! The staff is so nice and professional. Yolanda did my eyelash extensions and they look beautiful! She was so patient with me. It was my first time getting them. I had worked the night before and had not slept, I drank a coffee with an extra shot of espresso so it was hard for me to relax and keep my eyes still. But she was patient with me. I will be going back for sure!

Yolanda and Mike Clifton run this little medi-​spa and are lovely people. (Don’t let Mike’s rather gruff and gravelly voice scare you!) I recently relocated to San Antonio from Dallas for work, and called all 6 of the local estheticians listed as certified Novalash stylists. They run in the 200 – 250 range for a full set, and 50 – 65 for a 2-​week fill.
My eyelash girl up in Dallas used Xtreme lashes, but there are only 2 certified Xtreme stylists here in San Antonio, and both are pretty far from where I live and work in Alamo Heights. So I ended up choosing one of the less expensive Novalash stylists at random (not Yolanda) since only the pricey places had Unilocal reviews (ahem, doing my part to remedy that now).
Mike took the initiative to call me back the next day and gave me the name and number of one of Yolanda’s client as a referral, because they «would love to have [me] as a client» (direct quote). This woman also recently relocated from another city (Chicago) and was using Xtreme lashes as well. I talked to her for a few minutes and she was extremely pleased with Yolanda and Novalash, so I immediately canceled my other appointment and booked with Yolanda… and am very happy I did!
Yolanda takes her time and is very gentle. She is not as fast as some other lash stylists that I’ve been to but I appreciate her careful hand. A fill took about 1.25 hours and I love the lush yet natural look of my lashes. She’s definitely an expert at creating a flattering lash profile that’s individualized to each person. I’ve scheduled my second appointment for tomorrow and am looking forward to it already!
Nota bene: Anastasi is Yolanda and Mike’s dog who goes to work with them, so just a head’s up for those with pet dander allergies.
