A.G.S. Cake Supplies

My aunt is a professional baker, she works from home due to some medical problems.
She doesn’t know how to use the internet well so going to a local cake shop is her only way to go.
When she went there her first time, they sold her a beat-​up mold for. They covered the imperfection with a large price sticker and when she got home and took it off, she saw there was a huge dent on the mold.
So when she went that day to return it and tell them what happened, they blamed it on her and told her they didn’t care whether or not she wasn’t going to return, because they had enough customers to make up for everyone who hasn’t returned.
If these people were even nice about the situation and worked with her in a respectful manner, i would have given them a 3 star. But the fact that they PURPOSEFULLY covered up a messed up item, sold it for the same price and then blamed it on her is AWFUL.
Next time you go, watch what you buy and be careful.

Still my go to place for all my baking needs, but their customer service have been a hit or miss the last few times I’ve been there.

Wow. Helpful phone service matched the equally helpful in store service. We are from out of town and needed a lot of help putting together a 50^th Wedding Anniversary cake for my parents. Couldn’t be more helpful w cake stands etc. AND the prices are truly REASONABLE! God bless these people for helping and having skill. Noting these two don’t always connect in the great big universe. Wow!

I bake from my home and this is the only store in town that always has the supplies I need. Whether it be a cookie cutter, a cake pan, gel colors or boxes, I never leave without what I came for.
The girls there are very friendly. When I have questions about a product, they have answers.
The only ‘bad’ thing is that they don’t ever have samples of their flavorings. I would think i would try more if I could test them out first.

I love this place! Its awesome because it has everything you Need for baking And decorating along with classes. The last 2 times I went in I recieved really bad customer service which was a great disappointment because I felt I was ignored and employee didn’t care for My urgency for buttercream Even though shipment was already in and in the store she was not able to locate or even care to try to locate the buttercream for me so I had to return the next day to check if she had finally put out shipment. Forgot to mention there were 2 Employees and neither one helped.

My wife is the in-​house baker, that makes me the go for. So, I’m always making a run to AGS cake supplies for her. AGS has everything you need for baking cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bake goods. From mixing the cake batter, to icing, and presenting a cake AGS has you covered. AGS serves the beginner home baker, and the professional sweet genius. I like AGS cause the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I always leave this place learning something new. AGS has a big selection of icing coloring and cookie cutters; If they don’t have it they can get if. (if it exists) AGS also has a big selection of themed baking items like Star Wars, Justin Bieber and Harry Potter cake decorations. AGS also makes custom edible prints from any non-​copyright picture you have. So, you can put a picture of your great mother-​in-​law on your B-​Day cake; I bet that would give me a lot of brownie points.
