First thing I noticed walking in was the very bare décor. Second, service was horrible, I mean HORRIBLE. We were the only ones in there around 7:30p and during a 20 minute stretch when NOONE came out from the kitchen, a couple came and left after not being attended to… No excuse for that. So the food. OVERPRICED. We started with the chipotle chips which were super oily(like wipe on the plate oily) and half were not cooked, served with a bland«chipotle» sauce. There were three of us there and they served the other 2 dishes at least 10 minutes before mine. They ordered the jambalaya for $ 14 and the portion was so small. The flavor was bland and had to be supplemented with plenty of Tabasco. I can’t stress how small this portion was… I finally got my chicken piccata($ 14) after they had nearly finished their meals. I had asked for the pasta to be substituted with green beans, which they didn’t have so I got asparagus. The plate in front of me had sad looking chicken, asparagus pieces, mushrooms, and a watery sauce. Again bland and uneventful. When I asked for the«seasonal vegetables» it was suppose to come with, I received a plate of butter drenched broccoli 5 minutes later. All plates came with toast, again soaked in butter. The check was $ 55, and we left with empty stomachs and empty wallets. We will not be returning, as if I needed to reiterate that after this review… horrendous.
