#1 Discount Movers

If I could give this business 0 stars that would be more fitting. I have moved several times within the past 2 years and I have always used professional moving companies. This was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I would honestly rather move myself than have to deal with this company again.
They were late, which I was very understanding of. Apparently (or so their story goes) one of the movers who was supposed to handle my move called in sick this morning because he was out drinking too late. So for back up they sent in a man named Pete who claimed he was the assistant manager. There were 2 guys, 1 was working and Pete, after giving us a 20 minute run down on himself (on the clock) moved only a few things and complained that his arthritis was really bad so it was very hard for him to work this day. I tried to be completely understanding because this is Texas and it is HOT so I gave them water, ice, let them take 5 – 10 breaks. At some point the breaks were turning into 30 minute breaks and they hadn’t even finished half way moving out my 2 bedroom apartment.
They were supposed to be there to move out a storage unit, and a 2 bedroom apartment. 8 hours later they are barely finishing just putting my apartment into storage. it was 6pm and they arrived at 10am. They ran out of time to finish their job.
I bought both of them lunch as well as water. They did not take ANY time out for the time that they ate or even took out any time for Pete’s 40 minute restroom breaks.
Bottom Line is… they are the WORST!
I complained to the manager (owner), Jeremy, He was very rude and refused to discount the service in any way. He even threatened to call the cops on me because I couldn’t get enough CASH to pay our whole bill. Seeing as it was Saturday at 6 that they just informed me they only take cash. I was not even permitted to write a check for the remaining balance so I had to drive around to about 6 ATM’s so I could get these lousy mover’s their money.
NEVER HIRE THEM. THEY ARE SCAMMERS

I recently had a piano moved by them — not the easiest thing to move. They were prompt and professional. Overall, my experience was good and I’d be happy to move with them again.
