Benvenuto Salon

I’ve been in Marin for a year now and lee has given me the first awesome cut and color! I’ve tried at least four other places and I was very impressed with her consult and her skill.

After admiring my neighbor’s impeccably styled hair over the years, I finally decided to book an appointment with her hairstylist Carlos at Benvenuto Salon. Unfortunately, I waited until my regular hairstylist butchered my hair. Carlos, faced with the task of ‘fixing’ the worst haircut I’d ever had in my life, performed a miracle. While I had not started out with intention of a pixie cut, I left very happy with my new hairstyle and have received several compliments so far. Carlos was very warm and welcoming, put me at ease, and worked wonders on my hair. The salon had a very good vibe and the staff in the reception and shampoo areas were very friendly. I’m sticking with Carlos and the team at Benvenuto Salon.

This is not going to be pleasant. I had the worst experience of my life here, and will not be returning. I went in for a haircut, color and facial hair removal. The color was put on by the stylist, and then I had the hair removed from my face, with Tammy who was great, and does an amazing job. But when I returned to get my hair cut with Leanna, she didn’t have enough time to give me a real haircut, but instead rushed me through and was styling it before I could even catch my breath! Very little hair was cut. I even brought in a picture so that she could see what I wanted, but that was a mistake. She did what she wanted to do to save time, and by the time I got home, I looked terrible. And I paid over Two hundred dollars for this, without realizing at the time, how bad it really was.
I’m sixty-​five years old, and this was a real treat for me; but when I got home, all I could do was cry. And then a friend reminded me of Unilocal,and here I am.
I’m happy that these other women have had better experiences there than I have, but obviously, it’s not the right place for me.

I can’t believe that anyone would give this wonderful salon a bad review! I’ve been going there for 16 years, and I love it. I’m a regular of the fabulous Carlos, but I will gladly go to Wendy, Lee, or Katrina if I wait too long and Carlos is booked up. They always do a good job, and they give great value for the money. I’ve sent friends and family to Benvenuto, and I’ve never heard a complaint. Now, my two teenaged daughters are faithful clients, and I’ll bet that they’ll soon be sending their friends to Wendy and Carlos.

I have been going to Benvenuto for years. Love, Love, Love the place – it’s like «Cheers” – where everybody knows your name!!!
They have a new stylist there, her name is Amber, that does hair extensions. She’s been there about a week. My stylist, Wendy Santos, suggested that I have the extensions put in. We ordered them on Saturday and will put them in when they arrive. I’ll make another porst after that…
