U-Haul Moving & Storage of San Angelo

Two weeks ago, we rented a Uhaul from these people to move the furniture from our tiny one bedroom apartment into a new home near the base. Anyways, we did everything online to set up a truck, but they only had a 17 foot truck available. We weren’t sure either of us could drive a truck that big, so we called and talked to them.
They told us they could put us in a 14 foot, but that it had to be back at a certain time the next day. We understood, but looking back on it, we should have asked them to lower the price if we weren’t going to be able to use it as long as we would have before we switched sizes. Oh, well.
Anyways, we felt kind of ripped off because it was advertised as being $ 29.95, but wound up costing $ 90 with tax, a dolly, and mileage (we only went about 10 miles total). On top of all that, we put about $ 25 in gasoline in it before returning it. Hopefully, we won’t have to use Uhaul again, but it was an okay experience.
