Visiting from out of town, & loved coming to this place several times throughout our stay! Lattes are delicious! The service seamed to be slow but everyone was extremely friendly. Prices are fair & atmosphere is great. We enjoyed going for morning coffee & easy breakfast as well as a late night place to play some old time arcade games & have a couple of drinks/desserts.

Cool vibe and lots of options! I’m just a traveler passing through and needed a pick me up. I stopped because I saw the good Unilocal reviews. Got the blended coffee frappé. Tasted great though it was super sweet and fairly expensive. The lady who made my drink and checked me out seemed to be in a crabby mood and I felt rushed but other than that, I would recommend it.

Old fashion diner feel, today’s prices. Very pricey for sandwiches, good milkshakes and coffee, I would not recommend you come very hungry. Great place upstairs for the kids. Would go back for a treat but not to eat a meal.

I’ve been here twice and both visits the coffee was fantastic. Being the only real coffee option in downtown, this place a good choice. They definitely have room for improvement, primarily speed and attentiveness of the waitstaff but overall this place is a good option. Note: expect Starbucks prices but better taste.

Awesome spot for a quick bite for breakfast and glass of iced tea. They have vintage décor and great location with parking.

LOVE this place! Visited several times while in San Angelo for a week with husband on business. Really dig that they serve Cuvee coffee, it is delicious! Frappes were really good, well blended and much better than a certain large corporate coffee chain. Also, if you have never had a Café Affogato before, this is the place to get one! Try one with raspberry added. Cool atmosphere too, like old-school soda fountain meets coffee shop. Definitely would return to this place if I am in San Angelo again.

Sub was darn good. Got the Italian on wheat. The bread was perfect. Not too much food, not too little. Tasted really good. The iced coffee drink was even better and I never drink coffee. I got the caramel turtle something and it tasted better than a milkshake. Definitely a cool atmosphere too. I’ll hit this place up again for sure. The waitress was cool too ;)

LOVE this place. The coffee bean frappé is my favorite, but the raspberry mocha frappé is delicious too. I love the cozy vibe of this place so I bring my friends with me and usually sit up in the loft. I met the owner once when I came in and he was very down-to-earth and friendly. Most of his employees reflect those same qualities as well. I stop in every chance I get!

Had a craving for dessert/coffee and decided to go here. Place was empty with only one employee taking to what it looked like two of her high school friends. Not a «welcome» or a «hi, how are you» from the employee. Just a stare as she continued to gossip. We sat at the bar next to her little girl friends. After about five minutes she awkwardly walked up and said nothing. Just staring with a note pad and pen. So we awkwardly gave her the order. It’s a shame they drove away customers due to bad customer service.

Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting to find such a nice coffeeshop in San Angelo. Absolutely love the retro/boho aesthetics and the latte was very good. Wish this was in Dallas!

I ordered an 8″ Italian sub on wheat and a strawberry smoothie. It was divine! They didn’t overload the sub with Italian dressing or oil it was simply perfect. The sandwich with the pickle and a bag of chips was on $ 7! Not bad at all. It was also an awesome atmosphere. I really enjoyed the old signs!

A great selection of sweets and snacks with a vintage flair. Adorable 50s décor– this place is an oasis! Definitely didn’t expect to find a place like this in San Angelo, but really glad I did!

4⁄5 based just on the coffee. Definitely the best coffee I’ve had in town so far. Love the interior of the place! There’s a ton of old school pictures, pieces, and I want half the furniture. Plus who doesn’t love pinball? For 50 cents I even squished a penny. XD

This is a great place for breakfast, they have great sandwiches and delicious coffee. The environment is very cozy and relaxing, I especially love the cat roaming around. The service is always very attentive and kind. Recommend trying the 7 layer bar.

The drink I got was good(Nutty Irishman… I think that was the name). The cat that was inside roaming was off putting. The 7-layer bar was dry and not very good. The whole atmosphere felt a bit awkward… not very cozy. Definitely not a place I would frequent.

Haven’t had the time to come here as often as I would like to, but from what I know, Stango’s has a great selection of treats, teas, subs, coffee, ice cream, and pretty much anything else you might need to simmer down on one of those days. Prices are very doable too! Stango’s definitely stands out as one of the more unique coffeehouses I’ve been to. The forties/fifties theme rests well here. I love the 10 cent juke box, the decades-old yet classic arcade games, the signage, the lights, we just loved all of it. The upstairs loft provides a great overlook of the café, somewhat secluded from bustling crowds downstairs, and offers adequate seating for a couple of small parties. Will definitely be coming back for more of this blast from the past joint!

Great menu advice for a «noob» who has not even here before… I say cold, they asked what flavor, I say«cinnamon», Ice cinnamon Latte it is… BRAVO. So Delicious-hits the spot on a 92 degree day after working outside all day… Nicely decorated with items to look at EVERYWHERE. nice and quiet at 4:30pm on a Monday. Would recommend to anyone as a relaxing place to get your java on…
