This«Ramada» should not be confused with real Ramada Inns! I’ll start w the positives; it was clean, the bed was sleepable, the towels were not scratch, the pillows were ok also. Nothing remarkable about this hotel. Negatives: outdated! The bed covering were literally from the 80’s, the carpets were stained, and the room smelled of something like old. And worst of all the noise from the main road could be clearly heard for inside the room, yes the door was closed. Gave 2 stars because it wasn’t too bad.

First of all, I think the hotels in general in San Angelo are overpriced. I think this hotel was low quality for the price paid. I think if a hotel is going to go up they could at least make cosmetic changes to the hotel. First coming in I thought the parking lot was a little small, especially when there are a bunch of trucks. The room itself was just gross. It felt like housekeeping didn’t even clean and probably just used the same sheets. The room smelt slightly funny, the carpet was torn up, the lights flickered like a strobe light while warming up, the trash cans didn’t have bags, and they didn’t have any sugar and creamer if you decided to have coffee. The shower and toilet room smelt like it was cleaned with a dirty rag. The bottom of the shower felt so slimy I had to put a hand towel down to not fall(or get athletes foot). The tub was jacuzzi style which would have been exciting if the tub wasn’t cracked and the jets were actually cleaned properly. Oh, and there were hairs in the tub and shower wall! The towels were super scratchy. The area is noisy. The room itself was noisy with the bathroom light and sink making random noises, and the AC was loud every time it shut off. The only thing that wasn’t too bad was the bed. It actually wasn’t rock hard. We brought out own pillows, so I can’t comment on those.

Whatever you do, do not stay at this place. EVER. Keep going and find another place to stay or keep the money to yourself. They rip you off charging absolutely unreasonable amount for the most awful rooms and service. If you want to switch floors there will be extra charge(so you know!) I had contacted customer service and was asked to contact the manager directly… he never returned my call. I had to stay in this place because it was right in the middle of my road trip. It turned out to be an absolute mistake. I was challenged by a rude front desk manager and a fee to change floors. The room was nothing worth 92 $ per night we had to pay for. It was not clean, the coffee maker had nasty layer of dust on it and who knows what else was residing in that room. I have stayed at hotels that have more stars for the same price and received appropriate service. I give this place zero stars, nothing to give even one star for.
