Seriously, why can’t I find Tex-Mex like this more often? It was delicious from the first bite. The beans and rice had so much flavor and love in them. Bypass all other Tex-Mex restaurants and go to Franco’s, you won’t be disappointed.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a better Mexican breakfast. Went here after a recommendation from the hotel. Had the Huevos Bandera and it was DELICIOUS. Perfect eggs and the sauce… ooohh the sauce. I have dreams about that sauce. I will definitely have to go back for lunch sometime. I look for a specific taste when it comes to enchilada sauce, almost like a gravy than a sauce, and I would bet I could find it here.

REALLY great mexican food. Atmosphere was a bit claustrofobic but it was easy to overlook because of the quality of the food. I’d definitely come back again.

Stopped & ate here based on Unilocal reviews Not disappointed The chicken sour cream enchiladas were delicious & filing. The Faz plate was a nice combo sized meal. A little bit of everything. Obviously freshly prepared, down to the guacamole. The only down fall the tortillas. Everything was really good & will stop by again!

Franco’s is the real West Texas Mexican food. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Not to mention the insanely cheap prices. My personal favorite is the Beef Caldo Soup with extra rice. It is the best cold-weather food around!

I had come to Franco’s 3 – 4 years back. I wasn’t driving and did not pay attention to the location or the name. I had been looking for the place ever since, year after year every hunting season. I finally found it. You’ll find the best menudo ever! And if you’re like me and want your menudo with bolillos instead of tortillas, run to La Azteca 100yd from Franco’s and you’re set.

I do enjoy their breakfast, just not the wait or the bill. Wishing they weren’t so cramped inside.

Yea this is authentic Mexican food. Very very very small restaurant. But anything you order will be perfect and hot. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming for lunch but they’ll get you in and out quickly.

They recently updated their prices, which is absolutely fair, but I wasn’t happy about it. Anyhow, the food is great. I love their breakfast burritos! You can even order stuff that’s not necessarily on the menu and add to your burrito.

San Angelo has more than its fair share of Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican food joints and I’ve tried them all but I always go back to Franco’s. I believe that they have the best beef enchiladas in town, the service is always good and Danny, keeps the place spotless. I’ve had most everything on the menu and have never been disappointing. San Angelo’s Best Tex-Mex. The place fills up quick so get there early if you don’t like waiting.

Can you say delicious? I love Tex-mex and this is a very popular place for locals. I was recently told about this place from a local. He said it was«THEBESTPLACE» to eat in San Angelo. I’ve not tried every place in San Angelo, but I will say San Angelo is the bomb of home owned/home cooked good restaurants. I ordered the«Fajita Quesadillas» based on reviews and the waitress suggestion. This meal is enough for two people. 2HUGE homemade tortillas, marinated fajita meat, lots of cheese and veggies. It came with all the normal sides. This was delicious and by far my favorite quesadilla ever. I’ve been told their chicken fried steak is amazing… But I will save that for my next Angelo trip. I gave this four stars so I can go back, be wowed by something new and give it 5. I heard their enchiladas are amazing. Side note!!! Franco’s is only a few blocks from the Chicken Farm Art Center(wink wink)

I’m from Tulsa Ok… passing thru San Angelo. My husband & I stopped in Franco’s. We thought it must be a good place to eat since the parking lot was full at 2:30 in the afternoon! ! I had the best Chili Relleno I’ve had in years! We will be stopping there tomorrow on our way out of town. I’ve heard the fajita quesodilla is the best… think that’s what I’ll be eating tomorrow! !! Very good service, food & ice tea!!!

Fantastic Mexican food, we had the beef fajitas, guiso and Mexican plate and it was all delicious. Great salsa and tortillas as well. It does get crowded at normal meal hours so try to go a little earlier or later, you won’t be disappointed.

Food is Ok, NOCARNESADA!!! Major points against… Had the chicken fajita quesadilla-SO MUCHOIL! SOAKED the flour tortillas-portion was generous with retried beans(good), Pico de gallo & guacamole(perfect), chicken/cheese/onions/peppers inside quesadilla was good-cheese added EXTRAOIL! No big surprises on the menu; nothing that really stands out as remarkable. Will satisfy that craving if you want good food-but there is better around-I would do 2 ½, but not allowed ½ stars — sorry Franco’s!

Wonderful customer service! Our waitress was sweet, informative and encouraged us to share the large portions. She worked hard and had a great attitude! Water isnt filtered but it tasted ok with lemon added. Salsa is good — a little spicy for my personal tastes, but for spicy lovers it will be fine! Fast service. Fair prices. Generous portions. Caldo(de carne) was excellent. Nachos had a lot of guacamole. They also serve breakfast. After eating dinner there, the next morning my hubs went back to get breakfast tacos — they were equally as tasty!
