I have had several terrible experiences with this business. First I had a military uniform tailored. The elastic at the leg blousing was way too loose so I brought it back to have it tightened up and its still really loose. The seam along the side of the shirt had excess fabric sticking out of it – they had to fix it. The cuffs of the sleeves are incredible disproportionate and aren’t even ‘even’ with themselves. The cuff has varying width all the way around. FURTHERMORE, they didn’t even reproduce the original seam, leaving it will a single-stitched seam. Two weeks in a row I brought a dress shirt in to be dry cleaned, both times asking for ZERO starch. The shirt comes back starched the first time, so the second time I ask for zero starch again. Upon pickup I noticed – it’s starched again! Over the course of explaining to me that they starch all the shirts the same, she explains that the shirt hasn’t been dry-cleaned but ‘laundered’. Why would they launder a shirt that I am bringing into the shop to be dry-cleaned? Out of control. Finally, the shirt must have been pressed at such a hot setting that the wool has been ‘felted’ – it no longer has the smooth wool feel, instead it is rough and stiff. Ultimately I am out the cost of the shirt – $ 45 – and the shirt tailoring – $ 45. The lady who runs the store has offered no help. If the manager offers me some reimbursement I will be happy to update my review.
