Went there in the afternoon after a recommendation from our hotel. Would have loved to go there in the morning when the donuts are fresher. So we probably went at the wrong time. The apple fritter though was moist and delicious. I would go back and try their lunches for a change of pace.

I liked nothing about this place. We went at 10 am and they only had 3 kinds of donuts to choose from(red velvet, coffee, and something with a filling). None of those options being my first, second, of third choice but we all chose donuts. The guy behind the counter was unfriendly and short with us. AND the donuts were soggy(I guess not cooked all the way or too greasy). It was gross, a bad experience and I’ll never go back. My stomach still aches for the disgusting donut. Might I add that I hardly ever write reviews but I felt this one was necessary.

This place I could not believe they made phở. This is the best lil hidden secret of San Angelo. The broth tasted great and not too heavy if that make any sense. I’m originally from Vegas and we have a few selected phở places that we always go to and if donutopia was in Vegas they would give the competition a run for their money. Plus to top it off their donuts are really good so if you have any room left for dessert after eating the phở ur in good hands. My only negative comment I would make is that they’re not open in the evenings. But the food is great as well as the service.

Love this place for it’s variety and creativity. They never fail in amusement. Plus they have just a plain sweet simple donut. Which is getting harder to find. Will always be my donut stop in Angelo.

Went on a Saturday morning about 9am. Stayed for about 30 min to eat our breakfast. Was very busy. Constant stream of customers while we were there. I had the bacon, sausage, egg and cheese donut sandwich. It was good. Not the best I have ever had. Defiantly not the worst. Good and different. Almost have to eat it with a for its so sticky. My kids had some donuts. They were bringing fresh donuts out constantly while we were there. I would give this place 4 stars but the lady the took our order was not friendly at all. She was not rude, but she did not make us feel welcome. She seemed a little stressed out and mad. Other than that… Great place to eat breakfast.

We love Donutopia! Get there early for the biggest selection but you can go wrong with the plain yeast glazed doughnuts. The phở is a delicious surprise that I would have never expected to find at a doughnut shop.

Their donuts are extremely tasty. Very moist and have a great texture. We went in the afternoon so I excepted the donuts to be a little old but they were fresh and not dried out at all. So many of the né donut places focus so much on their toppings that the cake itself is often overlooked, but my favorite part of these were the actual cake.

Single star rating due to poor service. We were visiting from out of town and were on the hunt for traditional kolachys. When I walked in, I asked if they had traditional round, sweet kolachys and she was very rude and condescending stating that, «I have no idea what you are talking about.» and«We can just take a regular donut and fill it.» Amongst other terrible responses. If you are going to sell something, have your staff be knowledgeable with their product.

Bear claws– nom nom nom! We’ve gone here several times and have always enjoyed the donuts. Today was the first time they had bear claws in the case(or more likely, the first time I’ve been there early enough to get them), and they were fantastic. Flakey, not too greasy, and packed with apples. Before today the blueberry donut was my favorite, but I think it’s been bumped(although those are still great, too!). I haven’t tried any of the hot food, which is pretty much the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5; I hope to have lunch there soon, and if that is as good as the donuts I’ll be back to change the rating to a 5.

Love love love this place :) the people are very friendly and the donuts are AWESOME! Best part is that they actually have seating AND a menu serving food other than donuts. The breakfast sandwiches are so good, especially with a glazed donut bun! They even have a bacon burger with a glazed donut for a bun?! And it’s awesome! The serve a lot of Asian food too. The spring rolls are wonderful :) As long as I live in Angelo I will continue to eat here happily

If you can imagine it they try their best to accommodate you. I thought up bacon Napoleon buttermilk and it turned out freakin’ awsome!!! I’m picky as all get out on donuts and their selection and varieties are out if this world. I can’t believe Anglo HF as this diamond all to it self.

I came in(for the first time) just after they opened this morning and my experience was simply magical! Everything was fresh, and some things were even warm, including the raised coconut donut that was made for me on the spot using a hot glazed donut(because I wasn’t interested in any of the three varieties of coconut-topped cake donuts on display). If you, too, find yourself there at 6:00, treat yourself to a fresh blueberry cake donut, and perhaps«something still warm.» [All of the other donuts that I ate were wonderful, too, BTW.] I imagine it gets pretty busy here later in the morning, so the amazing customer service I received might have been due to the fact that I was the first(and only) customer, and that the display case was already stocked. If not, WOW! I’m seriously thinking about going back for lunch today. It’s my last chance before flying home.

Truly enjoyed my Cambodian Bbq plate with chicken, steak, rice, and pickled vegetables. Food tasted great, was healthy, and a decent price. Nice Thai tea. Husband had phở and order of fried spring rolls. I enjoyed his broth. Rolls were slightly disappointing because they were vegetarian– but not bad. Definitely would come back again.

New to San Angelo. I was very lucky to discover this little hidden gem. The service is great and the food is fantastic! The owner and employees were quick to learn my name and even sat with me once while I was having lunch. Special orders are no problem. The Phở is out of this world. I literally have to have it at least once a week.

My husband and I stopped here on a cross country trip. He ordered the ginger chicken and I had the curry noodle soup. So good! We got donuts to go because they smelled so good. The owner was super friendly and gave us tips on what to see in town. Definitely a unique little restaurant!

I’m from San Francisco but visiting Texas for family and when my family told me that I had to try this place, I was a little anxious about it considering majority of their reviews were about their donut sandwich. Personally don’t have a sweet tooth so was unsure about how this experience would be for me. Walking in the place itself just gives you a very welcoming vibe and the guy behind the counter was really patience and nice about taking my time to order. I ordered a breakfast burrito assuming it was just something simple to fill me up. To my surprise it was probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. It was filled with diced potatoes, bacon, sausage, eggs, and onions. Along with salsa that is also amazing to eat it with. Most definitely recommended and really wish they had one back in the city.

So after moving here this week, I needed a good breakfast place. Now when I opened up this business on Unilocal I just expected to see lots of donuts, but when I opened the page and saw some delicious asian dishes I was surprised and Intrigued. So we stopped in here this morning. And I was pretty impressed it’s bright and cheerful. And the prices caught my eye! Very inexpensive and quite the range of things to choose from. We went in for breakfast so we ended up with the #1 and #2 donut sandwich, which was a bacon egg and cheese and a sausage egg and cheese on a glazed donut. Man was that fresh, messy, but strangely delicious. Not for those who don’t like being sticky! The owner(or one of them) was a very professional and was very personable chatting with his regulars. The two younger employees seem to be either a little standoff-ish or ill trained but that won’t stop me from coming back and trying all of the great dishes. They have a new repeat customer!

For a small family run café, this place is on my list of favorites. They serve the best Asian food in San Angelo hands down, even if they only serve five Cambodian food dishes. When I’m feeling blue, need a pick-me-up, on a cold day, or when I just want to enjoy a delicious bowl of noodle soup, I like to order their Phnom Pehn(phở) noodle soup and the Cambodian stew noodle soup. Very tasty and always hits the spot. Their traditional doughnuts are also good. I have yet to try their doughnut burger though. Although it looks good, I’m a bit nervous. I’ll definitely get around to it and let you know. The owners are a sweet Cambodian couple. I wish you would stay open after 1700 though. All of the other Japanese, Korean, Chinese places seem to have forgotten what it was like to put love, pride, and time in their cooking. It really does show. The other places are just decent/alright and not at all authentic(very Americanized). I would definitely give this place a try. Don’t let the fact that they’re mainly a donut joint discourage you from branching out.

Bring cash. Order donuts. Smile. That’s right, artfully decorated, tastefully displayed and deliciously prepared donuts are the specialty of this colorful place tucked away in a strip mall. I enjoyed a crunchy cinnamon sugar donut and a red velvet donut one fine Thursday morning in November. Do yourself a favor and pick up enough to last your immediate craving and still have enough for later. I was pleasantly surprised to find a glazed yeast donut hole in my bag! Cash is required for any order below $ 5 and a positive outlook on life is required after snacking on these delectable treats.

What a neat and wonderful little eatery! Such a sweet family owned business! My husband and I love their doughnuts, best in town HANDSDOWN! And we often get the Phở and Cambodian BBQ plate for lunch! So yummy!!!
