Places like this deserve a curve, good asian food in a small town with no asian population.
The food is good, but not consistently spectacular. I got takeout pad thai once and it was absolutely amazing and then the next time when i dined it it was just ok. But if you have an asian craving this place will satisfy it for you. The staff are friendly, the prices not too expensive and the service was superb. Easily, the best asian place in town. Skip the chinese buffets and come here, you won’t regret it.

I’ve now tried several things on the menu, from fried rice to sushi rolls, crab rangoon and phở. Each item has been delicious. Ban Moon never disappoints. Food it hot, fresh and delicious and service is wonderful.

Average food, service was ok, prices good. Not at all bad, just not high on the list for a return visit…

The food here isn’t terrible, but it’ll do until I get to a more authentic Thai restaurant. I had the panang chicken curry which was good on the spice but the chicken’s texture threw me off a little bit. Their egg rolls are great though lol. Their chicken wings and chicken satay are a little dry. It’s not bad, but not my favorite.

Wow this was a great place to eat and didn’t expect great Thai in San Angelo. I am in town for 2 more days and will definitely eat here both days. Had the Drunken Beef Pad Key which I thoroughly enjoyed. Flavors were great with just a hint of heat. Service was outstanding and my server Sheidy W (shady) was fantastic. Can’t wait to try something new tomorrow and wish this place was near me in Florida.

Got the Red Curry Chicken to go with some egg rolls. The best Asian food in San Angelo. Will definitely be back.

Thai food brought to San Angelo, thank you!!! Missed my Thai fix moving over here. Love the coconut soup without the mushrooms and Larb… If you are use to eating some of these dishes differently than how they fix it, let them know and they will special order it. So very friendly! My go to place!

Drunken Noodles!
Amazing dish.
Their vegetable fried rice is great and flavorful.
The spring rolls are very fresh and light.
Even when packed, they are very fast whether dine in or carry out. Affordable as well.

Drunken noodles with chicken level 5 and basil fried rice with chicken. Both came in very large portions. The Drunken noodles were prepared with a thinner flat noodle not typically served in this dish, but i was so happy to have Thai food that I can honestly not complain. The Basil fried rice was great.

So as an Asian food lover (in all shapes and countries of the continent) I love Thai food. I was really excited to see that Ban Moon is so close, so dangerously close to work. Though I frequent the take out, at that being about once a week if not more. I’ve also gotten a chance to dine in, the food comes out fast and the service was pretty on point.
I prefer to stay pretty authentic to the Thai cuisine and frequent items like the Pad Mee, Pad See Ew, and Pad Thai but I’ve had some of their other entrees. Out of all of the trips in, I was only disappointed by their lo mein, decided to try something I hadn’t had there and I wish I hadn’t. It’s made too greasy for my taste and the spaghetti noodles were a little strange.
Honestly the rest of their noodle dishes wee excellent. But I will not be getting the lo mein again. I do enjoy their egg rolls and the spring rolls. They are both very good.
Service is good as well and they have a military discount so that’s always nice. All in all its the best place for Thai in San Angelo.

I love Asian food! Ban Moon serves up FRESH ingredients in all their food. The Thai Tea was PERFECT!!! It was so creamy and GOOD. I ate the Pad Thai and it was so delicious!!! The carrots, the green onions, the pork… everything was FRESH! I gobbled everything down!!!
The restaurant itself is clean. From what little I could see of the kitchen from the view by the register area, it looked very clean. You can HEAR the food being cooked!!! The sizzling sounds spoke volumes! The lobby is spacious and accommodating. Lots of room for large groups. I would definitely recommend you to give this place a try!
I will definitely be back often… as I have to try everything on the menu.
