My husband and I went into taco time on 3900 s and state. They were not busy so we ordered and got our and the clerk said everything was in the bag no worries. Well, once again I took her word on it when I shouldn’t have. Missing a burrito, and 3 beef rolled tacos. It’s not a lot but when you live 10 Miles away it’s a huge pain in the ass. This isn’t the first time they leave items out of the order. Please, always double check your order before leaving because they will Rip you off.

A small location and the food was good but what made me give it 5 is the person behind the counter. A man in his mid 20s. A whole lot of fun and an amazing attitude. Love it.

I love taco time. This location can be tricky because of a tight drive thru and traffic. The owners and employees are usually nice.

Not the greatest location for a drive thru, but I love this place. They’re always so nice and I’ve never had any issues with my order.

One of my favorite things about moving to Utah was discovering the artery-clogging marvel known as the crispy burrito at the hands of one of these joints. I still will hit them up here and there when I want a quick lunch and it’s the comforting thing that hits the right spot. Taco Time tried(successfully) for quite a time to be more upscale fast food, but eventually gave in and succumbed to the Taco Bell vs. Del Taco race to the bottom, though they did not cut the quality as dramatically as either of those two. They do, however, have a nice 4 for $ 5 menu, which includes those beloved crispy bean burritos. They have also added in a few new things, though stating their 5 Alarm sauce is the definition of heat is akin to saying the new definition of heat is not at all, as the stuff is more like a mildly spicy ketchup. Anyway, this place has a pointless and absurdly difficult to navigate drive through, parking lot is not much better and it is dinky inside. It has 14 chairs and 5 tables total and zero of those are comfortable. What they can do, though, they do do and they are very nice and fast in getting your food, so you can go somewhere with actual space, if you so choose. Food ranges wildly. Getting away from the crispy burritos has proven to be a mistake, though I still have to try some of their new hardshell taco combinations. If you go in now, you can also get a very nice pumpkin empanada(get the whipped cream also, trust me), which, if it were served without the endless powdered sugar, would be competitive to any of the strictly dessert places around. It sounds almost silly to type that about a fast food joint, but that pumpkin empanada is borderline incredible.

Well it is my favorite chain Mexican fast food. With weekday specials you can’t beat. My favorite is Tuesday 2 half pound tacos for $ 2.99. You can’t go wrong ordering that and you will be full. Always fast and I love eating in with the salsa bar.

Woah! As always, Taco Time is a step or two below a sit down Mexican restaurant, but you’ll not find fast food texmex this good anywhere else in the state. This location is situated in the high traffic area of State Street and 39th South in a tiny little building, which used to operate as a drive thru payday loan service, of all things. The food here is on par with other Taco Times in the city, the staff is excellent and really take care of their customers. My daughter left her hat there one week, and when my wife and I went back two weeks later, they recognized us and they’d kept the hat behind the counter waiting for our next visit. Be warned, this location is small ORSMALLER than it appears from the outside. If you’re bringing a group, you’re not going to fit inside. There are only about a dozen seats total crammed in the dining area, and they really are crammed. The majority of square footage inside is reserved for the kitchen. They do however, have a nicely sized patio if you’re visiting in the warmer months, but if you’ve got somewhere to go, your best bet is the drive thru, or if you’re just pining to eat fried texmex, head up the street four miles and dine at the much larger downtown location.

Coming from southern California I knew Utah would lack authentic Mexican food, but I didn’t think it would be THIS bad. This place is worse than taco bell, avoid at all costs.

I was visiting Utah and have never heard of Taco Time before so decided to give it a try. I a hard and soft shell taco and was dissapointed in both. I know you can’t expect much from a cheap taco place like this, but it’s like they forgot to put any meat on their tacos. If you’re looking for cheap fast food tacos skip Taco Time and head straight for Taco Bell.

Went to Taco Time on the way to the airport. None of us were even hungry but as we were departing for the airport we thought it was a good idea to fill ourselves up with some delicious tacos. We have never tried Taco Time before so we didn’t know what to expect except something similar to Taco Bell. We tried the crunchy tacos and the soft tacos. Neither were that good. My brother who is the biggest eater I have ever met actually stopped eating his soft taco and didn’t even want the other taco he ordered. We tried the hot sauce to add flavor to the tacos which didn’t do much help either. I guess I’d rather stick to something I know and am used to — Taco Bell Sorry Taco Time!

The drive through situation is totally weak. Also there is nowhere to sit inside, and the food takes a little while to be considered fast. It’s not bad food though, it’s just a little pricey. I think they employ 9 year olds as fry cooks.

It is always packed during lunch time. Hardly any place to sit, and yet, the place is humming! The staff brings your food to the table. We asked our crispy bean burritos to be made extra crispy, and the staff did it with a smile! The rest rooms are always clean and the always have some very good value specials going on. Drive through works well. Wish they were open on Sundays!
