Cutest homemade clothes ever!!! She uses such fun fabrics and combines them in the cutest way. It’s a little bit overpriced, but the seamstress is super nice and fun so It seems better than paying for an expensive shirt elsewhere.

I love love love Sorry Clementine. I’ve been following Suzanne from market to market for a little over a year now and I’m so excited that she has a store front. Back when I first discovered her at the downtown farmers market last year, I fell in love with her fun colorful tops but I thought she just recycled old shirts. Nope. She full on makes each and every piece so you might see similar styles and fabrics but no two pieces is the same and I love that. She also does awesome screen prints that she designs herself. I love the jackalope and the jellyfish! If you see a style you like but she doesn’t have your size, ask Suzanne about a custom piece! The back side of her store is where she makes these beauties and I know she’d be happy to make something work for you. I have a handful of shirts from Sorry Clementine and I love adding more. My current favorite is a sea foam green, white, and gray long sleeve with a lacy back and bow on the front. Any time I wear any of my shirts, I get complimented and so many people have asked where they can get it. Her store is across the street(just west) from the walgreens. I love how she decorated the space and the walls make the small space bright and open. I’m also in love with the recycled bicycle wheel racks. So fun. To add to her clothes, she also carries a couple of local jewelry lines: Peach Treats and Easily Amused. I’m very familiar with Peach Treats as I’ve seen her gauges(real and fake) at the markets as well. The best part of Sorry Clementine is the lady behind it. Suzanne is so friendly and sweet as can be. You may see her husband around the shop here and there and he’s great too. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see their dog, Falcor. He’s the keeper of the shop with his menacing puppy dog eyes, droopy tongue and snot bubbles.

Sorry Clementine is unique, beautiful, one of a kind hand-made clothing by the ridiculously talented Suzanne Holifield. She hand makes all of the clothes, no two being alike. No one will ever have exactly what you are wearing. She also offers hand screen printed tops that she designs herself, which are available in limited size runs. Thank goodness for us ladies, she now has this adorable little retail location so we can pop in before that special event and get ourselves a cute new top. The back half of the store is actually Suzanne’s work space. This offers an amazing one-of-a-kind opportunity to further customize your shopping experience. Love something but it’s not in your size? Just chat with Suzanne about options for making another that is customized for you! No other boutique can offer that. You won’t believe the prices either. She easily could sell her clothes for triple of what she offers. What I love almost as much as the beautiful clothes, is the fact that she also supports other local companies. Sorry Clementine carries other local and hand made products in her shop including the beautiful earrings of Peach Treats, jewelry from Easily Amused and handbags from Reclaimed Wreckage to name a few. When you are shopping for new clothes ladies, and we know you all do, stop here first. You will instantly fall in love with the super friendly Suzanne and her adorable little shop dog, Falcor, and of course her beautiful unique line of clothing.

She’s got a retail space now, folks. Sorry Clementine is movin’ on up! If your unfamiliar(read: you’ve been under a rock and haven’t seen the awards, read the articles, or peeped her boothing at a festival or fair in the last several years), then you need to know that Sorry Clementine is the real deal. This is Suzanne Holifield’s own locally-made handmade clothing label and this listing here is for her brand new retail location. Let’s hit the highlights: Suzanne has been making rad clothes for nearly 10 years. She’s been selling at the farmers markets, at street fairs, and all over the craftiverse. Her stuff is super cute. But it’s not cutesie stuff. It’s hooded stuff, custom screened tops, and she has a keen eye for a killer neckline. Best of all, you’re not going to walk in to a party with your pals and be wearing the same thing as them. The shop is set back off of 500 E, so don’t hesitate to drive back there and check it out. It’s adorable. As of today, they’re still filling it out and fine tuning it, but you’ll find a few racks(loved the handmade piping one) to peruse. Everything about Sorry Clementine screams local. Even the lettering on the window was done by Kat Martin, a local artist. Now, just being local doesn’t automatically worthy. But when you’re local AND you’re talented, this retail shop means good things for fashion in SLC. Whether it’s some new threads for yourself, for a gift, or especially right now for the holidays, you’d be wise to drop in and check this place out. And it’s only going to get better as time goes on.
