Came to visit Utah for three nights with my in laws. There were about 5 of us girls who needed space and enough bathrooms. The hotel was perfect for our party. It takes a lot of mirrors to get us going. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great but arrive early. Sadly there was no hot chocolate during our stay. There is also an indoor pool and spa. We would’ve utilized it but the spa was broken. It would have been perfect after a long day. I would definitely stay again. It was about 10 mins away from temple square. Also the parking wasn’t too bad!

Staying on Delta’s dime so I don’t know the prices but their continental breakfast selection is the bomb. The room I was in had all sorts of amenities like a microwave, full fridge, desks, couch, tv, and comfy bed. Really friendly people too.

I am currently staying here(for a month on a temporary work assignment) as I write this and I find the service and friendliness to be absolutely outstanding. As a Platinum Elite, I am somewhat favorably prejudiced towards the Marriott brand, but this really is a good and quite comfortable hotel and perfect especially for extended stays. Anything I have asked for has been immediately taken care of and usually with«it is my pleasure» :) Again, the customer service and staff is top notch. Housekeeping, btw, is awesome here too!!! And with anything that may go wrong, they are quick to rectify it «Johnny on the spot» I had an issue this morning and it was immediately resolved… no foot dragging or lots of baloney!

They have an inadequate shuttle system. If you need to go to the airport in the morning do not stay here. They share a shuttle with 3 or 4 other hotels. We missed our flight this morning because it took 30 minutes to be picked up and taken to the airport. Also they have no rooms with two beds. I wanted to stay in a room with two beds and I was told by the front desk lady that they did not have any rooms with two beds at this hotel. The hotel responded to my review it mentioned that my family and I were eating breakfast when I requested a hotel shuttle that is simply not true. Want one of their staff members we get on and lie about me and my family is very bizarre to me. I initially requested a shuttle at 7:30AM and was told no because I did not have my luggage with me. I am mediately went to our room and got all of our luggage. 2 to 3 minutes later I arrived back at the desk and again requested a shuttle. Before 7:35AM. The shuttle did not arrive until 8 o’clock. We missed our flight and right now driving back to Portland Oregon in a rental car. Thanks for nothing Residence inn.

I stayed here a few years ago when our family’s flight from Vancouver to SLC got delayed for 1 night after our cruise in Alaska. We were supposed to make a connection in SLC and switch planes to go to Ontario airport in California but we had missed the connection because of the weather delay in Vancouver! Once we got here, it was 11pm at night and we needed a place to stay so we could take the next 8am flight back to the LA area so we chose this place. This was a very nice hotel! We had a nice big room with 2TV’s, a full kitchen, a seperate living area, pay-per view movies on demand, and most importantly, the most comfortable bed I had slept in in my entire life! Clean bathroom. Nice employees that immediately greeted us when we arrived and checked in! They asked us how we were doing and quickly checked us in so we could go up to our rooms! They have some pretty nice ammenities! In addition to the spacious room they have a complimentary breakfast, ski storage, an indoor pool & spa, free wifi, and even a basketball court! Not too many hotels have that! They also have a complimentary 24-hr airport shuttle that arrives and departs I believe every 20 minutes to SLC Int’l Airport. We used this to get to the hotel from the airport the night before and to catch our 8am flight out of SLC in the morning! If I ever visit SLC again, this hotel would be my first choice! I will return. Highly reccomend!

This hotel is the reason I will never stay at Marriott hotels the rest of my life. Enough said.

Very dated. Lots of cover plates covering up parts of the room. Tub surround looked really dated. Walls were very thin. Could hear people through the walls watching tv, talking, snoring and other showers of other guests were very loud. Additionally, my room was right on the highway and I could hear the road noise all night long with trucks downshifting and horns, etc.

Cons: –they over booked me by $ 260 when I used priceline(priceline didn’t take the money, they did)…yes, they did refund me –when I asked if I could be moved to a different hotel, they refused even though they had already screwed up. They said they would charge the whole stay anyways even though my email said the cancellation would cost $ 200, not $ 760! –they didn’t offer anything for their screwups and lack of customer service –my room didn’t have any lotion –I found tortillas on top of the fridge –walls are paper thin, I could hear my neighbor talking and when they took at shower at 5am it nearly gave me a heart attack it was so loud. Snoring too. –fridge is noisy Pros: –room is large and in general nice –bed is very comfy and sheets are nice –indoor hot tub and pool open until 10pm –good hot/cold breakfast

I stay at Marriott’s all over the nation and was appauled by this location. Be ware of BEDBUGS– pretty sure there were some dead ones around the base of the bed! I would steer clear if I were you. There are plenty of other cleaner hotels in the area. Also, the customer service was by far the worst I have ever seen at a Marriott property. They were rude and made me wait forever for simple requests. The kitchen was extremely out of date. The stove made scary noises and the fridge smelled awful. I had a large room but the bed was not comfortable at all. Also, if you want somewhere easy to sleep, on the side of a major freeway with large truck sounds all night long isn’t the greatest idea. I normally don’t care if things are older or out of date but I do care about cleanliness and hospitality and this hotel had neither. Rude staff and dirty rooms. DONOTSTAYHERE.

We all ways stay out here as it is easy access towards Layton and the East bench where our parents are. Everybody at the front desk, especially the day manager was great. The breakfast was just OK(lost one star here). Even though it was near the freeway, noise wasn’t a problem. We had the niece and nephew with us got a great room that allowed us to spread out.

Of all the Residence Inn’s I’ve stayed at this is one of my favorites. Extremely soft, comfy bed; microwaves and fridge with freezer in every room, flat screen TV and nice hotel staff. Good sized rooms and conveniently located near the airport.

Not the newest building, but it is clean and in good condition. Breakfast is good, room Is good sized(granted I got a suite and came with extra bedroom that I had no usage) Staff is friendly and helpful. If you are in SLC for layover this location is convenient, getting to the city is easy but need a car big time. Good value for what it is.
