This particular Radio Shack store is a TRUE GEM! I am primarily feeling this way due to an OUTSTANDING, SOLUTION~CREATING INDIVIDUAL, named ANA!!!
Ana saved my life today by soldering together old, worn cables and the connector piece to an obsolete, old phone charger which no longer exists on the market.
I desperately needed to retrieve contacts stored only within this archaic piece of technology and ANA was the ONLY ONE in SLC who came up with a SOLUTION to my dilemma.
She did so with absolutely focused precision and total concentration and followed the project ALL THE WAY THROUGH, no matter how many curve balls were thrown her way in wiring! ;)
She then turned her attention to the next patron who walked through the door and gave him her TOTAL FOCUS.
I LOVE THIS MIRACULOUSLY HELPFUL and GROUNDED HUMAN BEING.
Thank you, Radio Shack, for your genius in the hiring department! And for being so centrally-​located and well-​equipped.

I came to write a review about my experience at this Radioshack because it was so positive and to my surprise I found one review 5 months earlier that was very similar. The service and helpfulness that we encountered on our visit was remarkable and exemplary. The young man fit the description of the earlier review: young male in his 20s with long hair, my boyfriend thought he saw a name tag that said Blade. Anyway, he was fantastic and really sold us on Radioshack!

The store is small, and has a limited selection of electronics. The staff, however, are incredibly helpful. Twice in the past week I have ended up at Radio Shack desperate to find some relatively obscure parts for a computer system I am building (a DMS-​59 to dual-​DVI and hard-​disk mounting brackets for a tower PC), and twice the young man working there (long hair, I don’t remember his name) has been able to point me to a local store that carried the part. The service is incredible, and I have no doubt that if they were to carry the part, they would have happily and efficiently ordered it for me as well.
