A-OK Budget hotel. The place is very dated but clean and quiet. The WiFi was strong which is nice when trying to watch streaming content on devices. Breakfast is included but very meager. Bagels, cereal, some canned fruit and packaged pastries. We did find the beds a little hard and tossed and turned a bit during the night.

I’ve been coming to Salt Lake City every year on business over the past several years. My only criteria for my visit is that I can stay at an affordable hotel that is short walking distance from the Salt Palace Convention Center. The hotels that are closest to Salt Palace run over $ 125 per night. I simply need a clean bed to sleep in. North Temple Inn provides a clean, no-frills room that is conveniently located two blocks away from Salt Palace that costs less than $ 90 per night for a queen-sized bed. They do serve a continental breakfast that consists of cereal, bread, coffee and fruit. If you want to visit restaurants or stores, however, you will have either to walk, bike taxi, or drive to areas where they’re located.

shower only in my room. I avoided the motel 6, and it leaks… like theres a twisty like nozzle to differentiate the spray… and its not the best because its small, its a small shower. the room is nice, the bed is a little bit higher than the television set. The lamps are good. the window opens but is right in front of a parking spot… you’ll see its in my pictures. theres a little weight room, but its been stripped of the t. v and the wires are all visible… the pool isn’t open, and it is still cold out but the date is the beginning of may, BYU is past SPRINGBREAK and have already graduated… hence SUMMERTIME is inevitablly happening really soon.

Lady at front desk was quick and friendly. Rooms are ok like a motel 6 and it is outdated but if you want cheap and decent this place works!

Room smelled. Really small. I found a crack pipe under my tv stand and loads of trash under the bed. The blanket smelled too.

An inexpensive place near downtown, and just a couple blocks from the temple. parking was free for one night, though it looks like there may be a charge for longer stays. For some reason, the room had an exorbitant number of lights — three table lamps, a floor lamp, two sconces, and a spotlight — all in the main area(ironically, the bathroom light did not work). The shower is a small stall-type, and the curtain wasn’t as clean as it could have been. Strange lighting aside, the room was good for the price($ 69 and change). Breakfast included multigrain cheerios, packaged Svenhard danish, canned peaches, and Stash teas.

This place is pretty good for the price considering its in downtown Salt Lake City. Right across from my old school too. Stayed a night here and the hotel doesn’t really have any wow factors to it. To me it’s just an average hotel but what more do you want if you’re just staying for the night right? Checked in at around 12am and their checkout was at 11am so we were only there for 11 hours which was good enough. They have a swimming pool. Oh and btw they offer free breakfast in the morning but don’t expect your typical IHOP breakfast. There was bagels, cereal, oatmeal and coffee plus the seat area for the breakfast is pretty small and was packed so we just took our food to go and are in the hotel room. The shower pressure is pretty weak btw.
