It doesn’t bode well when my favorite gyro from this Greek restaurant has onion ring in it. Yes, onion ring. Smothered in BBQ sauce. In a gyro. I think the main reason is it takes my attention away from the lamb and beef slices, which somehow manage to be both dry and oily at the same time. But it’s hard to care much when all I taste is BBQ sauce and the onion ring. I guess that’s why they call it the Wasatch gyro. With 7.99 a set, the gyro comes with one side and a drink. The falafel is just nasty. I do enjoy the Baklava, although it’s hard to mess up when all I can taste is sweet. I probably consume enough recommended sugar for a week in one bite. The location is very convenient though, in City Creek food court, which was why I ended up here in the first place. This is not the place to satisfy your taste buds but rather just a station to convert edible substance into energy, you know, enough for you to walk further to find a better restaurant.

Lemon rice is probably one of my favorite things, ever. I usually go for the chicken kabob plate because the lamb is a little too adventurous. They have a special on Thursdays but the plate totaled a little over $ 10.00 this Monday night. This time the chicken was cooked too long. I could tell because I was waiting for my food longer than usual. The rice was perfect! Salad was also fresh and delicious. Pita bread is always soft and great. You definitely get a portion worth the price.

I ate lunch here for the first time yesterday after I’d been craving Greek food for quite a while. The food was good but not great, though it was better than the other Greek chain that’s in town. I got the special of the day which was a gyro plate that came with the usual rice or fries, salad, pita, gyro meat, and sauce. The service was good and very fast despite me ordering in the middle of lunch. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would eat there again if I find myself craving Greek food whilst in City Creek.

I ate here a couple of time and never really reviewed it. It is very decent place to eat for a food court place. The service is the typical Thing you would expect from a food court. I ordered the chicken kabob with lemon rice and it was very good. The chicken was a bit dry, but what can I expect from a place like this. The food was very flavorful. I would come back here to eat for lunch because it is one of the best places here at the fold court. Just not as good as a sit down restaurant.

I’m giving this five stars because everybody is demanding too much from a food court joint Meat is on point, lemon rice tastes alright and the 3 meat combo for 15 bucks is ok. Honestly, it’s your only Greek option inside this court. And it’s not that bad.

Sure it is a food court, sure it is a mall, but the service here is so SLOW! Only the two women who work there seem to care about the customers.

I had a pork souvlaki plate. It came with a Greek salad and lemon rice. The souvlaki was good. Well seasoned and hot off the grill. The salad dressing was the best part of the salad. The rice was also good. It wasn’t very lemony(which I was happy about). But had more of a savory flavor. The pita was in triangles and was par for the pita course. There’s not a lot that makes Mykonos stand out, but not a lot that condemns it either. A middle of the road choice for a food court that has a few really solid options.

The food is ok, not great and the service is sub-par. For serving a typical«street cart» menu, they service was painfully slow. One woman was cooking while a man(owner/manager?) was chatting in the back with another employee.

I work very close to the city creek mall food court and frequent the restaurants often. In general I love Greek food! That said, this location has some things going for it, but some major problems against it. ON the positive side, they know how to make your classic Gyro(good olé greek taco goodness) ! They have Gyro variations(kind of fun to try)! They have fries(not exactly greek, but all greek places do it, and do it well). They have dolmathes(stuffed grape leaves, i recommend them). they have daily meal deals… down side, they are over priced! I wont buy anything significant unless it’s a daily meal deal. I’ve learned that if you buy one of their«plates» or «meals» or whatever they call them, its mostly a bunch of filler. Why pay 8 – 10 $ for a significant portion of rice and iceberg lettuce with little substance? Another big problem, They are SUPERSLOW! it’s embarrassing, they need serious outside help, this is a long standing problem they just don’t know how to fix. Overall, this is a good place if you know how to use it, try call ahead ordering if you can

I had a chicken wrap with the salad and it was really really good! It’s nice to have a healthy option in a food court full of fast food. My only complaint is that it took a while and my friends who ate at Other places were finished eating before I got my food. It was completely worth the wait though and just means it was made fresh. I’m surprised by the bad reviews because I was pretty impressed and would eat there again.

Meh. The gyro is just chunks of meat, not shaved meat. The portion size is average. I could probably eat two in one sitting. The plate meal seems to be a better deal and a better portion size. That is… American portion sizes. You only get one refill. The baklava is average but the size is above average. Not a whole lot to say about this place.

The slowest fast food in the food court. Waited quite some time to give them my order as the girl at the cash register was having problems and there wasn’t enough staff there to step in and help. Finally ordered then waited twenty minutes to find that me and a few other guests had the same order number which was causing lots of problems. Finally got my food(well after the rest of my party was finished with their meals from other eateries) to eat very subpar food. I did like the soft pita, but the salad was underdressed and I’ve never had such dry and flavorless falafel. It was definitely not worth the wait. Went to get a refill on my drink after seeing other guests get refills and was told I had to pay for another drink if I wanted a refill(not to mention stand in their ridiculous line again). But other guests didn’t have to pay? Will never be going back as the food, service, and extremely long wait are not at all worth it. Not to mention you can get much better food elsewhere for the price!

Trust the ratings. I should have. I generally won’t eat anywhere that has less than 4 stars. This place is bad for Greek food. Tons of cheap fillers instead of meat. We came for a Gyro and a Sandwich. It took them 12 minutes to make the sandwich. During that wait, my Gyro became a cold Gyro(gross) and the pita was DRY. The sandwich was good. The service was condescending. After an aggressive hunt for the meat in the Gyro I finally found it under their«red» filler which is a mix of tomatoes and onions. I had asked for this to be served on the side. It wasn’t. The old 80⁄20 rule(80% meat and 20% filler) was reversed with 20% meat. Very disappointed. The fries were good. So was the fry sauce that I made on the side from mayo and ketchup packets. Again — trust the low reviews. Save yourself the $$$

I am surprised by the poor reviews for this fast food restaurant in a food court. Being gluten free I have only ordered the gyro plate(without the bread) and have always found it well cooked and the gyro meat is always nicely seasoned and succulent. The lemon rice is a great option instead of fries and the salad has always been fresh.

I have frequented this place quite a bit. Three times now in fact. I always go with the chicken salad which may be a safe bet. The dish comes with a marinated chicken kabob on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes, feta and a creamy dressing on a bed of rice. The plate also comes with a pita. It’s cheap($ 7 something), everything is fresh tasting. The rice as been previously remarked is not lemon rice, it probably has a little butter in it, but I’m not sure of any other details.

I’m surprised at all the negative reviews of this place. Thus far I’ve had the falafel, chicken kabob and classic gyro and thought it was all very good. Maybe I was just really hungry each time, but I plan on coming back for more.

So you should just not waste your time or money and go elsewhere in the food court. There is a reason for no line at this place. I got the gyro plate with lemon rice which was color yellow but sure was bland and gross. The dressing on the salad is not good what so ever and is just tart and nothing like Greek dressing. The meat was alright but was burnt to a crisp in a lot of place. And to finish was my side of the white yogurt sauce. That sauce is why I’m writing this review. In it was a thick black hair. There is nothing more disgusting then finding hair in your food. Then I couldn’t finish my overpriced lunch. Don’t go here.

I was skeptical about eating here because of the previous reviews, but I am only in town for a few days and really wanted Greek food. I had the traditional Mykonos gyro, and it was very good. The meat was a bit well done but it was tasty. I would eat here again. Don’t let the bad reviews away you a different way.

It’s unfortunate that some of the worst Greek food you’ll find in the state is right here in City Creek. Always slow, slightly overpriced, and never as good as you expect it to be. Oh well, at least you’ve got other options.
