Mario is the real deal. 81 year old Italian that was schooled and apprenticed in Southern Italy. He is honest and proficient in the waning art of personal tailoring. This is beyond an alteration but a glimpse into the past. Take some time to get to know Mario!

This guy looks nice, sounds old-​world Italian, but is deceptive and callous. When I asked for a price for shortening the sleeves on two sport coats, what I thought was the final price was instead per sleeve! On my first and only visit there, I helped him work with his phone carrier to make a call to Italy because he couldn’t understand the customer service person. I spent nearly an hour of my time helping him. When I asked when the jackets would be ready, he just said he’d call. Two, then three weeks go by and he never called. Finally I called and they’d been finished for two weeks. He just never called like he said he would. And I kind of expected a little extra from him for all the time I gave to help him, but nothing. Not even letting me know when my items were ready! He’s a joke and simply not a nice person. Unprofessional and self-​centered.

I took a new suit to him to have it fitted and he did an excellent job. He charges by how much it needs to be tailored and it’s very reasonable. He only accepts cash or checks, but it’s hardly an inconvenience when compared with the finished product. Very nice man. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely awesome tailor. Helped me to fit my suits perfectly. He is an older italian gentleman, but he is good at what he does. Definitely recommend.

Mario is the man. This guy is an old school Italian tailor that knows his stuff! He has tailored suits for Jazz players, the Mayor, tons of satisfied customers. He has been a tailor longer than I have been alive. That should be good enough.
He is mostly a cash operation, hang out and chat with him for a bit. The price has a chance of going down if he is in a good mood or likes you.
