This is a great shop that not only helps the local anglers, but are also helpful to the needs of the industry. I always get help without attitude when I shop here. They also have some good classes to help improve your time on the water. Be sure to watch for their segment on KSL Outdoors too.

Wow, I have been working in the customer service industry for 6 years and hate being treated poorly in an establishment that I am excited to check out for the first time. After spending a few minutes on the phone with a gentleman that was very happy to help me, I rushed into the store to find some fishing waders and boots.
My boyfriend and I were not greeted at the door, but stared down by a bunch of the staff members who seemed too consumed in their conversations with fellow employees and friends. We wandered around for a few minutes and finally found the waders ourselves. I kept making eye contact with each employee (there were more than a few) who were quick to look away and ignore my hand waving … trying to signal for some help.
I went on to try each pair of waders (clearly looking to buy a pair right then and there), taking my time and hoping that someone would ask us if we needed any assistance/​help. We wandered around for 20 minutes un-​helped, un-​noticed, and completely avoided.
Thanks for nothing, your customer service could have gotten you a few more clients and great referrals.

The good folks over at Fish Tech Outfitters are just that, plain ol’ good folk. Have a fishing question? They’ll answer it for you. And if you’re open to a good story or two, well, they’ve got a few of them as well. The staff is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The store is stocked with just about anything and everything you might need, whether you’re a fly fisher or a bait caster. From stream to deep lake equipment, if they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it.

Fish Tech is amazing, and the staff is down to earth, and genuine in the dealings with you as a customer. You are treated more as their fishing partner, that a revenue stream. Great selection of items, which is complemented by their great knowledge of the areas and conditions. Many items that I have been looking around in my area (Davis and Weber County) were sold out; Fish Tech had the items in stock and many variations to choose from. Great work guys for running a sporting store how it should be. Not only did you sell me some equipment, but you purchased a repeat customer now. — Ken
