I called in an order after quite a while to give it another chance and I wish I hadn’t. Ended up ordering something I didn’t want because I couldn’t understand the person on the other end of the phone. Went to pick up my food and had to wait 5 minutes before anyone noticed me and the girl was unfriendly. Order came to way more than what I thought but just paid it to get out of there. Ordered the shrimp in clam sauce but it was just a few shrimp they put In egg drop soup. It was disgusting. Had absolutely no taste and made me want to vomit when I poured it over rice.

Not impressed. The quality was ok, I got the teriyaki chicken. Didn’t taste too good. I also got the egg drop and egg roll. Both were decent.

choosing a number of stars was extremely difficult but I settled on one because I know that I will never be eating there again. And I don’t think anyone else should either. first I should note that it has been over two years since I have eaten at this restaurant. I was looking for someplace to eat on Unilocal and this restaurant popped up, and it reminded me of our last experience. So first let me say but I have eaten at this restaurant many times. I have Eden here as dine-in and I have also had delivery. Everything I have eaten here has tasted delicious. on the times that I have dined in the service has been great. So why you ask will I never return, and have given this restaurant only one star. The last time we went there my wife and I sat down ordered our food and sodas. when the sodas arrived perched on the top of the ice in my wifes soda, was a baby cockroach. I have worked in restaurants my entire life. I know that restaurants occasionally will have cockroaches shipped in in the vegetables and there’s nothing a restaurant can do about it, no matter how clean the restaurant is, except for have a good program of spraying chemicals. however the chances of a random cockroach who arrived in with a shipment of vegetables being a baby and making it into my wife soda or extremely small. more likely is that they have such an infestation of cockroaches that they are everywhere. think about this, how did the cockroach get into the ice on the top of the drink? my assumption is it was crawling around on the soda nozzles and fell in at the last moment. if it had been in the glass it would have been crushed by the ice cubes or drowned in the soda. no this cockroach was perched on top of the ice so must have entered at the last moment. meaning it was probably above the soda and fell in. Mind you this incident happened about 2 years ago so in 2013. this problem may have been rectified by now. But if the hygiene in the restaurant was so bad to have such a large problem then, and the management has not changed what would lead me to believe that if I came again it would be any different. In my opinion when dining at this restaurant you take your health into your own hands.

Awesome foods at low range! Definitely a treat for every now and then. I love their business hours. I bought take-out at 9:30ish and they are still open. Quick service and English speaking too. Very friendly.

This place is for those who have never tasted Chinese or Vietnamese food. The main Chinese dishes were bland with«breathe of wok» flavoring. The phở tasted like beef broth. The service sucked and I think the waitresses are mute. left the bill with her body half way turned without a thank you. They wouldn’t place our order after taking our order because she didn’t want to walk to the kitchen before taking another tables order.

Out of the way but well worth the drive to Salt Lake City. Fresh food and friendly on the wallet. Everything unbelievable especially the Vietnamese coffee and orange drink. May look like a strip mall dive but you will be very surprised.

We work close by and this has been a regular destination for years(I’m talking over 10 years now). Everything is pretty good except the Phở. They don’t seem to get enough phở orders to have a soup base ready for service. It seems like they use powdered stuff — so stay away from the phở. And service — it’s hit and miss. Lately, it’s been a lot more miss. And the seats are worn down. But we go for the food and that’s fairly consistent. The Vietnamese vermicelli and spring rolls are consistently good. The rice dishes are also always good. Lately, I discovered the Shanghai Chicken is excellent. In fact, we’re going back for some right now!

I want to give a million negative stars, if doing so lets me drag this place out of business. As a Chinese who had lived in the United States for 17 years, this place has the regular fake Chinese food. But what led to this review is how they discriminate customers that come in on a tour bus. You are only given a one-page menu with the most boring items to choose from. I asked for the full menu, and first I was told that the small menu is all they have. I was confused because I saw someone else was just served a dish that’s clearly not in the short menu, but might be what my sister’s kids wanted. Then here came the more lies: they ran out of it. That was the last one. At 12:30, the peak lunch hour?! No way was I going to believe them. I asked then how long it was going to take them to make that dish. They said that with many tourists to serve, they wouldn’t be able to finish the order before my bus left. I was very puzzled and said that my bus didn’t leave for another1.5 hours. They still said that there wasn’t enough time. I went back to our table and discussed with my sister about how bad I should fight about this. Eventually with 3 kids waiting to be fed, and my fear of spit in our food if I was stubborn(not that I had heard this restaurant would do this), we ordered from the menu specially designed for tourists, the cheap, fast, and nasty dishes. The waiters and waitresses were rude too. Our dishes were not laid down, but dropped on the table. No refill of water. Wrong items were sent twice. When it was time to pay, as someone usually doing 20% tip or more, I gave a mere 5%, as I told the owner that I knew they lied to me about running out of dishes I wanted, and that they took advantage of tourists, and that I was going to post reviews everywhere on this humiliating experience as a paying customer. Hopefully they see this and start being less mean to tourists coming after us.

I’ve had fresh off the boat Chinese food from LA& Queens and this is the closest that I’ve had to that here in Utah.

Excellent place. I always order the Lemon chicken. It’s very sweet. Price comes to about $ 7 with tax, but not including tip. I really like their egg drop soup and their food is very high quality. Probably the best high quality food for the price. There are some cheaper places around but their food quality isn’t so great. Highly recommend. I give it 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. Also when I came here the place was packed!

Total hole In the wall, but all the best Asian places usually are hole in the walls. I haven’t had much here but what I had was pretty good. My friend got one of the phở dishes and is was the best phở I’ve had in Salt Lake. I got the shrimp lo mein, and they were pretty generous with the shrimp. I don’t like the thinner noodles as much as the thick ones, and they use thin ones, but the flavor was still excellent. I’m looking forward to trying some on the menu in the future.

You don’t stay in business for 30ish years and not be good at what you do. I love this place. Family owned and friendly. Great portion sizes, clean but not fancy. They do delivery as well. Best Egg Drop Soup of any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had. It’s not just salty broth.

Love this place! English isn’t their first language so sometimes communication isn’t as simple as it is with other restaraunts. However even we’ve had errors with our order we’ve NEVER been dissapointed with the food we’ve received. We’ve had surprise meals turn out better than what we thought we wanted! Can’t recommend this highly enough, one of my favorites in the city!

For Utah, the food here is pretty legit. Got the combination phở and the pad see ew. First time I think I’ve ever had the two in the same meal. The phở broth was tasty and rich, but there wasn’t very much meat, tendon, or tripe in it. There was also no basil to add. The pad see ew wasn’t bad either, but again, it was lacking in meat and the noodles were a bit overcooked and soft. We came on a bus tour so the servers were very busy trying to get everyone’s order served. The water had no ice, and we had to get up to get our own utensils and plates. Service might be better during down times but we wouldn’t know.

THE best bun to be found in Salt Lake City. The vermicelli noodles are cooked perfectly and the seasoning of the meat is delicious! The restaurant is a bit of a hole in the wall, but I haven’t been able to find any place that serves better Vietnamese food… and I’ve a dozen or so spots.

Lol, so I have only been here for random weddings that my parents have gone to and I’ll just write about what I know. They accommodate a large crowd of people up to somewhere around 100 – 150 and they serve large course meals of 8 – 12. They do a decent job of hosting these large events and the food is pretty good itself and presented well. I really like their crab claws. Ever since I was a little kid, it has been my favorite part of the meal. Crispy and very meaty! Yeah, that’s pretty much all that I know about this place. I have no clue how it’s like just dining here.
