Went to divas with a group of friends. We were excited to try a new place with cupcakes. We got there around 11:20 and we didn’t get seated until 12:30. I couldn’t stay long, and asked for my order the first chance I got. I had to ask for my food to go because they were so backed up in the kitchen. 30 minutes later they brought out my sandwich and it was soggy, and flavorless. My friends were there until 3:00PM. and the majority of them ordered wraps, and oatmeal. They said the food wasn’t great and the staff never apologized for the wait, or for the service. I would not suggest going to this restaurant. There are other restaurants that have the same atmosphere that has better service, and better food. Final thought — DISAPPOINTING!

Total disappointment. The cupcakes here are absolutely TERRIBLE. If you want a REAL cupcake try Mini’s, Sweet Tooth Fairy, Or(my favorite) One Sweet Slice. The frosting here is whippy and light, when frosting should be dense and flavorful! The cake has no flavor what so ever. I’ve given this place 2 chances, and have been terribly disappointed both times. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I’ve only been here for their cupcakes and coffee, but all the cupcakes I’ve tried so far have been delicious! The buttercream is rich, but not greasy, not too sweet, and super smooth. The cakes are a bit dry, but the buttercream frosting compensates for it well. Also love their unique flavor variety! Since I wrote my first review of this place, I have visited several different bakeries in Salt Lake, trying each of their cupcakes. This was the ONLY place that used Swiss buttercream, and I personally think this is the best cupcake place in Utah!

I spend hours here each time I go. Maybe it’s to make sure I’m getting my money’s worth after paying $ 13 for a grilled cheese and iced tea. But the food is mostly delicious, nonetheless. The sage iced tea is the tastiest and most unique i’ve ever tried. I love that there is such a variety of seating options, outdoor patio, dining room tables, loungey couch area or the awesome greenhouse. Sometimes if you’re sitting in a certain place in the greenhouse, you can hear another person’s conversation as if they’re sitting RIGHT next to you, but they’re actually on the other side of the room. Weird acoustics because of the dome shape, I guess. A bird pooped on my arm when I was sitting outside one time, but the patio is still really nice and shaded. The cupcakes are good, but I go for the soothing rain forest ambiance and blazing fast free wi-fi. Seriously, fastest network I’ve ever used at a coffee shop. Hands down, best chill out café in south salt lake.

Hmm. So. La Marzocco espresso machine is a welcome sight when you first walk in, if you care about the important things. Then you get an eye full of the prices. Holy rip off bat man, the buffet better be better than the Grand America for that price. But alas, no, the pancakes were burnt, the eggs cold, and the kid not so happy. The latte was good. But honestly, for the price, I could get an entire meal. Oh the picture of the of the ‘brunch’ pans is not an exaggeration, its what you get for the price of a dinner at Flemings Steaks. I noticed the ladies were enjoying their tea and crumpets at brunch. This certainly reeks of 50-somethings, and not quite the 40-somethings another reviewer mentioned. And honestly, I’ll take a slightly smelly jacketed Gen-Xer to a bunch of… Oh, let’s not get into the race thing.

This would be one of my favorite spots for sure… the chocolate peanut butter cupcake is fabulous!!! There is nothing better than sitting on the patio with coffee, a cupcake and good conversation. Great vibe… it keeps me coming back!

This place is pretty good, my only complaint would be that it is a bit spendy for coffee. They have great cupcakes and sandwiches and the outdoor patio is fantastic. It can get a little crowded at times and it seems to attract an older(40s) crowd and book clubs.

This place is super close to my house and I LOVE that its not always jam packed with hipsters. I can find a place to sit without breathing down someones neck and getting whiffs of their Urban Outfitters and Mod cloth attire covered in cigarette smoke. Yes this place definitely jumped on the amazing«Coffee and Cupcakes» bandwagon but did you know they also offer brunch on sat and sun mornings? And they have a selection of soups and sandwich’s? YUM. This spot is great if you need a little quiet«me time» or want to catch up and chat with some friends. A lovely escape if you will. If some of you haven’t noticed, I have a thing for patio seating. If its there, I want it! And Diva’s patio is the Bee’s Knee’s. LOVE. The green house sets Diva’s apart from other coffee stops and I love the couch’s with dwell magazines sitting on the coffee table in front of me. Excuse me while I enjoy my brew and dwell! Visit Diva’s and leave happy.

I just love this little place. After all, it’s two of my favorite things: coffee and baked goods! As a bonus, the wifi is free, there is plenty of seating, and the food is just darn delicious. The pasta salad has a nice balsamic vinegar flavor, and the chicken salad sandwich was obviously made on bread baked there, and it was delicious. I took cupcakes back to the hotel, and they were excellent, even on the second day. My favorite was the chocolate with cream cheese icing — usually the cream cheese icing can be a bit heavy, but this was light and fresh. Excellent.

This is one of my favorite mellow places to go and enjoy a cup of coffee and a book in the morning. They serve Café Ibis coffee(which is my favorite coffee ever!) The staff is very friendly and laid back. I love the atmosphere. I have had lunch here a few times and was always very tasty. I am not a big fan of their cupcakes(but I am very paticular about my sweets) but I have a lot of friends who rave about them so definitely give them a try!

I am still not over the cupcake craze so bring it on! I love a tasty tiny cupcake, and I love quaint little overpriced coffee shops even more. Put the two together and I am a happy cupcake camper. I ordered the mini red velvet and the mini black & white. I was happy they offered the mini versions because I wanted to try a couple of flavors and the regular sized cupcakes were way too big for that. But after I ate them I felt like the mini size were too mini, after all. If you’ve ever been to Mini’s cupcakes, that size is perfect in my opinion. The red velvet was a little on the dry side but I thought the cream cheese frosting was off the hook delicious. The black & white cupcake was moist, chocolaty and perfect in every way. I wished for a full size after that wee one. I will 100% for sure be back to sample others and to try their coffees, teas and food items. I can’t wait to see in the little terrarium-ish room and ponder life over tea and cupcakes.

I’m reserving final judgment on Diva’s for when I go back to sit and spend some time, but from what I saw, I likey. First of all, it’s cupcakes and coffee. I’m a little over the whole«cupcake movement» in these here United States, and if Starbucks has done anything for America it’s accelerate the pace at which everyone has become very skeptical of any place with a couple of chairs and free wi-fi that calls itself a coffee shop. But Diva’s has taken a little twist on these and perked it up with a little freshness. I stopped in to get a couple of cupcakes the other day. Nothing says«I’m Sorry» like chocolate on chocolate, and nothing says«But I still want my own cupcake too» like red velvet. While I was there I was definitely intrigued by the place. I mean, It’s like a main café with a display case and a few chairs, then a reading library annex, with a geodesic terrarium attached to the end. Now that’s something you don’t see in a strip mall. So I will be back, perhaps to try a little of the lite lunch fare and see what the true vibe of the place is. The girl behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer, so that’s a good sign. And the cupcakes? Apology DEFINITELY accepted.

Diva’s offers everything you could possibly want from a local coffee shop. In addition to offering signature cupcakes and a wide range of coffee and latte beverages, Diva’s also has a lunch menu that includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups. Diva’s also offers Sunday brunch, featuring delightful fruits, pastries, salads and coffees. Yet what really makes a coffee shop a coffee shop is the environment, and Diva’s does not disappoint when it comes to offering an enjoyable place to visit with friends, read a book, and simply relax. Diva’s unique green house room provides guests with an peaceful environment that includes beautiful plants all around, along with the calming sound of waterfalls. It’s truly a relaxing environment. Diva’s also has an impressive deck with cool outdoor lighting, and a bookcase filled with interesting literature for guests to enjoy free of charge.

I was visiting SLC and my friend took me to Diva’s for coffee and cupcakes — does the combo get any better than that?! My chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting was delicious, as was my iced americano. The staff were very friendly. We go our treats to-go but I look forward to going back and spending some time in the shop. The atmosphere was very lax and inviting.

Cupcakes, coffee, beer & wine. Do I really need to go further? I will anyways. They also serve lunch and Sunday brunch, and do a fine job at everything they serve. The variety of atmospheres is sure to make anyone happy they visited. But really, it’s all about the cupcakes.

Fantastic food at their weekend brunch, but severely overpriced at $ 16.99(prices were raised after Mother’s Day), plus tax, rather than the $ 13.99 posted on their website. A decent selection of wines, and tasty tasty cupcakes means I will likely go again, but not for the normal brunch.

My favorite coffee shop along the Wasatch. I love the green house. It’s great that you can feel the suns warmth on a cold day here. There is plenty of seating and plenty of character. It’s the atmosphere and coffee that keeps me coming here, not necessarily the cupcakes.

As a cupcake shop Diva’s leave me a bit disappointed. First the cupcakes are overpriced. Second the cupcakes are not really that good. The cupcakes have a decent cake mixture to the base part of the cupcake. However, the frosting is pretty weak and often mismatched with the type of cupcake. The cream cheese topping didn’t taste right. The cupcakes are too expensive. A mini cupcake should not be nearly as much as they charge. As a coffee shop Diva’s does a better job. They have a large selection of drinks available as well as actual food to eat. There is no wifi which can be a deterrent for many customers. The outside patio is not usable in the winter time. The prices on their drinks are a bit high. There is a good atmosphere and ambiance created by the patrons and the interior but this can’t make up for high prices and paltry cupcakes. If you want a real cupcake vis a vis Sprinkles or Magnolia then head a little south to So Cupcake.

I am notorious for my love of cupcakes. So when I recently received an award for being«Employee of the Month», my boss knew a great prize would be a gift certificate for, naturally, cupcakes. So, on a balmy Saturday afternoon, with my BFF in tow, I ventured out to Diva’s to use my gift certificate. The first thing I can tell you about Diva’s is this: You could get lost in this place. For days.(And that’s a good thing.) It is definitely not your run-of-the mill square coffee shop. I actually don’t know how to describe the building, exactly. There is a huge, outdoor dining area, an indoor atrium, a library, as well as your expected general seating areas. Let’s just say there are tons of spots you could hide yourself away with a cup of coffee and a cupcake, and make good use of the free wi-fi for a few hours. The service was really good. The employees were really knowledgable, and super friendly. I enjoyed talking to them! And really, it seemed like the prices were really good. For $ 15.94 we got: 2 cupcakes, a vegetarian hummus wrap(which was huge, by the way), a cup of tomato basil soup, and a generous piece of vegetarian quiche. The price was definitely right. I should mention that all the food was excellent. The soup was really hot, and a lot better than your typical tomato soup– this was slightly chunky from pureed veggies, and had fresh basil in it. The hummus wrap was divine, with tons of fresh veggies and a thick slice of smoked gouda and was served with a balsamic dip, and the quiche was super tasty. There were actually a lot of people there, but it didn’t seem crowded, because there were so many seats. It seemed to be a diverse and ecclectic crowd of people. Would make for some great people watching. I’ll definitely be back.
