Probably one of the more tattered Deseret’s. If you’re looking for that quirky trendy item that’s old but in good repair, you may want to try some of the other locations. Who knows though… some of these floral couches with bodily function stains may be the exact chic that you’re looking for.

Not the nicest DI, but worth the occasional look for a bargain. Found a brand new ACT prep tool for my teens today. :)

The glory days of this place are long gone. Overpriced broken furniture. Management is nowhere to be seen, and I’ve seen one staff member deal drugs to another while in uniform. Never going back to this hole.

My only experience with this place is when my significant other(being a certified regular here) drags me along on a shopping adventure. What can I really say about this place: the staff are likely underpaid, there’s a ton of crap all over the store, and plenty of weirdos muttering to themselves while looking through jeans ten sizes too big for them. Occassionally, you might find an item or two of interest. Prices are bargain basement low and yet I’ve still seen people haggle at the check-out. Staff are friendly enough. Going to this place really depends on both the mood that you are in as well as what kind of day this DI is having.

My four stars is for the management of the store. Friendly and engaged. Committed to serving those in the community. The selection is OK — but not as vast as the larger DI’s

Unfortunately I didn’t have time to poke around in here extensively but it was a cool day and I needed a sweater/sweatshirt type of thing and found it here quickly for $ 5. The store looked big and clean and there were a lot of clothing options to rummage through. It looked like a fine Goodwill knockoff to me. It’s pretty awesome and convenient for SLC to have this right in the downtown area.

Okay, don’t get me wrong, I love shopping at thrift stores. I’m a DI fan, this DI is just gross. You have to wade through a sea of homeless people to get inside and once you are in there you instantly feel the need to bathe. Check out the one in Sugarhouse. I do have better luck finding records at this store though.

I was excited to try my luck at another D.I. even my great experience at the Sugar House D.I. Granted these things are timing and the«eye» — yep, the timing was a miss that day. Not one single item worthy of taking back to Seattle. Parking here is tighter than Sugar House. And the store is a bit smaller.

I really had no idea this was here. Even when I pulled it up on the Unilocal app, I thought it just had to be a mistake. But undaunted, I drove to the address to check it out. Sure as shootin’ there’s a DI here. This DI probably ain’t my favorite of all the stores. If you’re here, you’re not too far from the Sugar House location and that’s probably a better bet. This one just feels a little smaller, though I will say that parking is easier here than other locales. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but that’s the beauty of a second-hand/thrift store, is that it’s more about the looking then the finding. Clothes, books, yard stuff, garden stuff, electronics, home décor, furniture, even collectibles. You never know what’s going to turn up.
