Club Dj’s

Last few times I have been in, there it was boring and the people there look like they had been in the same seats as the last time I was in there. For such a big place it needs someone to attract some customers. They definitely need a PR manager to bring in business. Good drinks, nice bartenders, but lack of luster. It’s actually sad.

Is this place clean? Not really? Are the patrons beautiful? For the most part no. Is the service excellent? It’s average. Are the prices great? It’s decently cheap. But this place is AWESOME. I brought my girls to Johnny’s and said this was my dive bar where you eat and drink for cheap, people know me, and they let me watch Knicks games. So she took me to where her dive bar is… and this place was simply not as divey as I had imagined. First of all, it’s enormous. Second of all, the karaōke people REALLY take karaōke seriously and for the most part are pretty damn talented. I didn’t eat, but we did chill, and I had fun. I heard it’s absolutely packed on the weekends. I can only imagine this place is raking in the cake. I was impressed… for all the weirdest reasons.

DJ’s is a unique collection of characters and spaces, sort of a one-​size-​fits-​all bar in an area that doesn’t have many bars. Buried deep in the corner of an more or less abandoned strip mall, you will go in wondering if you came to the right place — and depending on what you came for, you may or may not have.
This is not a fancy club. The décor is budget and dated. You might be able to expect to have some fun here, but don’t expext luxury. Service is friendly and quick, provided by experienced staff, who are quick with a smile, but also know the signs of trouble and all the sketchy tricks people in bars try to pull.
Even if you don’t smoke, check out the smoking area. Once again, it isn’t fancy, but it can be fun — there’s a kind of summer party on your buddy’s porch vibe out there.
The food is acceptable, if unspectacular. Steak tips are usually pretty good. The kitchen closes fairly early, but they’ll let you order in delivery if the kitchen is closed and you’re still hungry.

It is what it is … just a neighborhood bar and club. Been here several times … once a month for the Saturday night stand up comedy night. The drinks are cheap and so is the food. Great hamburgers! Friendly and attentive service. It is so worth the $ 5 cover because the comedians are really funny. There is also dartboards, pool and dancing.
